Strasburg Mayor Thanks EF on EU+CoE backed Project at CFE, eyes Strategy/Actors/Summits/EuroDistrict

"Eurofora" observed that EU Parliament's and CoE's Support on Main Principles in 2021, was Based on Variant but Converging Approaches and Values, (EU particularly on Citizens, while CoE on Press' and Information's Freedom, but Both on Modern Democratic Decision-Making process). Earlier, the Project was Backed Also by a 2-Days-Long Conference organized by Strasbourg's Euro-Metropole, and Transmitted in a Written Report to the French Government, on the occasion of the "Great Debate" launched by President Emmanuel Macron during 2019, (See: http://www.eurofora.net/newsflashes/news/euroforaideasendorsedbystrasbourggreatdebate.html , etc), after Discussing that with Macron himself on 2018, (See : http://www.eurofora.net/newsflashes/news/macronforcitizensdebatesalsoafter2019.html , etc).   

Meanwhile, "Eurofora"'s co-Founder had Already spoken on that key point with almost All successive EU Parliament's Presidents, during the Last 25 Years, as well as Many or EU Top Officials and Experts dealing with such issues, (See, f.ex., relevant "Historic Synthesis" Paper, with Brief, Dated, concrete Mentions about relevant Events, on More than 25 Years of Promoting that Main Idea accross the European, PanEuropean, and often National, Political and/or University Horizons, at : ... The relevant, Public Law Mecanisms, had been Examined at an Original Legal Research Work of more than 1.000 Pages, Published at the 1980ies, after being presented and adopted (with 18/20 - "Très Bien") at Strasbourg's University, and Officialy submitted by the Faculty of Law for the award of a Prize normaly reserved to PhD Thesis, on a written proposal by Paris II Pofessor Paul Amselek. Its Press/Media and Digital Technology aspects were Added on the Occasion of a Collective Project (including European Journalists, Universitarians, EU Parliament Officers, etc), that we Coordinated, accepted by EU Commission in order to be examined in the framework of Program "ESPRIT" for Innovative Utilisations of New Communication Technologies on 1997. The Political aspects, as well as the Overall Synthesis, was Iniialy Presented by us at a key EU Parliaments' Press Conference, organized by the then EU Commissioner in charge of Medias, (Future Swedish Foreign Minister Walstrom, a "Socialist"), and the then 1st Vice-President of EU Parliament, Long-Time Spanish Christian-Democrat/EPP MEP Vidal-Quadras Roca, (future Founder of current "Vox" new Party), who Both Welcomed it, back on 2006, and immediately afterwards Taken over and Promoted further by the Creation of the original WebNews "EuroFora" Website, since 2007(-2021).AnOther PhD Thesis, under the Direction of President Jean Waline (Strasbourg University), and expected to be Published on 2023, is due to Examine the relevant Results of this CFE, including a Comparative Review of similar Developments in the Past or the foreseable Future in Other Countries in Europe and/or the World, as well as Further Modern Democratic Perspectives at that Horizon.

    + Topicaly, that Issue Fits quite Well anOther Announcement, made by Mayor Barserghian Today in her Speech at the Inauguration of Strasbourg's 2021 Euro-Fair, (where "Eurofora" had been Invited : See ... + ..., etc), about the imminent Organisation of a Special Collective Meeting by the "Agora" Group of various "Actors on European matters" located in this Region, exceptionaly Together with the main "Economic Actors" of the area, and others, in order to Discuss the overall "Strategy" of Strasbourg City and Euro-Metropole concerning "Europe".

    As the New deputy Head of Staff, with Mayor Barseghian and EuroMetropole President Pia Imbs,  Miss Segolene Tavel, told later "Eurofora", that event is due to be linked, inter alia, also with a special Reception at Orangerie Parc, scheduled for Monday, 13 September 2021, i.e. practically Coinciding with the Beginning of EU Parliament's Plenary Session this Month in Strasbourg, (which is Timely expected to be, Exceptionaly Followed by a 2 or 3 Days-long Session of the 'Conference on the Future of Europe''s Citizens 'Panels', etc).

    ++ That Fits the Mayor's expressed Hope that this September 2021 Entry would Highlight EU Parliament Plenarie's regular "Return Back to Strasbourg", where she Plans to discuss with the French Government how to Organize "several EU Ministerial and Other Summits", "during the forthcoming rotating EU Presidency by France on the first half of 2022", as she added.

    +++ Meanwhile, Nowadays, "for the 1st Time", atypical Local Grouplet "Euro-District", (which Brings Together mainly Strasbourg City, from the French side of Rhine river, and Kehl, Ahern, Offenburg, Lahr, etc, from the German side, Totaling almost 1 Million of EU Citizens, in about 2.500 Km2, and 112 Communities), "will have a Stand, in this (2021) Euro-Fair, near the <<Institutional>> Organisations, (including the Brand-New "Alsace" European Body), Together with a High-Tech Venue of <<Orange>> Big Phone Company", (which, as "Eurofora" found, Focuses on Highlighting mainly Hugen Double-Screen SmartPhones -very Practical also for Journalists, as they might Replace a Heavy Computer...- for the Future "5G" era), Barseghian Announced.

    - "Our main Interest is to Live Europe, not as an Abstract, Far-Away Big Entity, but in Concrete Matters of Everyday Life", told later "Eurofora" the Young Lady who was Animating that "Euro-District" Stand today. - "However, they are Different, and often Unique, in Each Trans-Border Area, so that Solutions canNot always be simply Replicated", she found.

    Last, but not least, in this "Transition" Period of 2021, to the New and Big "PEX" Building, due to Open from 2022, (Comp.: ..., etc), Barseghian Innovated Today even on the Traditional "Political Personality", (usually National or European), due to Inaugurate officially Strasbourg's Annual EuroFair :

    - Indeed, Speaking in front of  Requisitioned Hotel "Mercure" (earlier "under Renovation") for some 150 Aghan asylum-seekers (See : ..., etc), she Announced that, Exceptionaly this year, the Traditional big "Political" Invitee would be Replaced by "2 Olympic Games' Top Athlets, and 2 of the Coaches who Trained them", who just Returned Back to Strasbourg from Japan...

    => This trigerred a Fast Move by Many Spectators, (apparently More Interested by International Olympic Games' "Finalist" Athlets, than by usual Politicians !), Eager to get an original Photo Before the Medias...

    But, after all, ...Settle a Thorny European Issue might, sometimes, be at least as Challenging as a Final round at International Olympic Sport Games, doesn't it ?
