*Strasbourg/CoE/Angelo Marcopolo/- CoE's Chairman, new President of Albania, Bujar Nishani, speaking to "EuroFora", firmly confirmed his country's Political Will to make whatever possible in order to realize the Strategic Energy Transport link of the Trans-Adriatic Pipeline, ("TAP"), which can help create permanent links between all the EU and Eastern Mediterranean Sea's on-going Oil/Gas New Findings, (in addition to eventual old terrestrial but controversial and uncertain projects which might be added also from various other Directions/Origins).

 - "The Trans-Adriatic  Pipeline is very Important for Albania", President Nishani stressed from the outset in Reply to "EuroFora"s Question.

 - In this regard, "we've just had an Agreement Signed by Albania, Greece and Italy", he observed.

+ However, TAP is not only "Important for All those Countries, but also for the European Union", as a whole, the Albanian President rightfully added, considering the fact that the project obviously intends to create Energy Transport Links also towards the rest of the EU, via Austria, Slovenia, France, etc.

- That's why, "Albania will offer the Maximum of Engagement",so that "in Albania, TAP will find a Safe Place, and a very Good Environment in order to implement this project", he promissed.

Already, in general, "the average Economic Growth of GDP reached +5%" in Albania "during 2007-2012, while, "World Bank's 2O12 Report on "Doing Business" this year ranks Albania onthe 24th and 16th place, in "Getting Credit" and "Consumer Protection", respectively, placing Albania among the Countries with the Highest Results" worldwide, President Nishani had observed earlier.

=> Therefore, "I think that (all) the European Countries will Profit from that (TAP) Project, (which) is a very Important one", the current CoE's Chairman concluded.

 - This goes even more Today, when "there are, currently, wider EU Projects to Fund such strategic Energy Transport links", as "EuroFora" reminded to President Nishani, who agreed wholeheartedly with a crystal-clear  - "Yes, absolutely !",

(concerning in particular EU's recently anounced Plans to start soon doing so in order to also boost Growth throughpout all the EU, as New French EU Affairs Minister Bernard Cazeneuve has already confirmed in reply to an "EuroFora"'s question, earlier at EU Parliament, and as it was moreover reiterared even by the Foreign Minister of the country, experienced  Laurent Fabius, during his recent visit to Cyprus, current EU Council's Chair, and new Oil/Gas findings' host, including on Pioneer, High-Tech Projects agreed with Israel, after preparatory deals with Egypt, soon possibly Lebanon, etc)

It's at a splendid Natural landscape, inside a Forest plateau with superbe view over Paris, at Saint Cloud, that the incoming French EU Presidency had the good idea to join together all EU Member Countries' Ministers of Environment and Energy, in two overlaping EU Councils in a series, from 3 to 5 July 2008.

Fresh rain happily dissipated July's heatwave, before a bright Sun shined at the conclusion of the EU gathering around a huge statue of Earth (See Photo).

French super-Minister of State for Energy, Transport and Environment, Jean-Louis Borloo, and Minister for Environment, Nathalie Kosciusko-Morizet chaired the first EU Ministerial meeting at Paris' area, together with EU Commissioners Demas and Pielbags, surprising Journalists with improvised Press-points, at key-moments of the discussions.

Environment and Energy are key to the development of New Technologies to boost Europe's role in the World, while also responding to Citizens' concerns, stressed Borloo, speaking to Journalists earlier in Strasbourg.

According to well-infomed sources from the French EU Presidency, the aim is to stimulate a growing trend inside EU Parliament, via various on-going Reports developping in parallel, towards achieving the necessary targets before December.

For this purpose, Top-level representatives from Borloo's super-Ministry are expected to come in Strasbourg during EU Parliament's plenary, next Wednesday, a key official told "EuroFora".

Polls

2009 EU Elections were won by Parties against Technocracy and Turkey's controversial EU bid, while the 1999-2004 Majority Abstention trend decelerated. What should be done in 2009-2014 ?
