*Strasbourg/Angelo Marcopolo/- Despite "Hot" Controversies, the Government in Paris is due to Start a Risky DeConfinement on Monday, May 11, Nonobstant the Fact that Safety "Red Lines" have just been Crossed, in Various but Converging ways, Both in France and in Germany, where Virus' Spread Worsened, as well as in South Korea and China, where the Virus re-appears, (See: http://www.eurofora.net/newsflashes/news/hastydeconfinementrisk.html + http://www.eurofora.net/newsflashes/news/infectionsbypassopeninglimit.html).

In France, the Last Working Day Before that DeConfinement, on Friday, New Infections Crossed the Official Threshhold of 3.000 per Day, Reaching Higher than 4.100+. Meanwhile, a Huge Majority of French People : about 72%, reportedly Believe "very Probable" a 2nd Wave of CoronaVirus, Soon After the first Measures of DeConfinement.

In Germany, in addition to a ReOpened Factory found Contaminated by the Virus, at least 3 Länder are reportedly Crossing the Line of 50 New Infections per 100.000 Inhabitants each Week, fixed as a "Brake" to DeConfinement by the Federal Government, while, even the Rate of Transmission of the Virus per each Infected Individual suddenly Grew from 0,65 Up to 1,1.

In South Korea, the Capital City Seoul closed down Thousands of Night-Clubs, Bars, or Discos, after several Dozens of People were Infected, apparently by a few Serial Multi-Recidivist Contaminated Individuals who reportedly Abused of the DeConfinement.

In China, for a 2nd Day in a row, a Double-Digit Number of New Infections were registered, for the First Time on May 2020, concerning 14 and 17 Victims, while a City was placed into Quarantine, at the North-East of the Country, in Inner Mongolia, near North Korea. Moreover, this included Initially 1 and Afterwards 5 Persons at Wuhan's Region of Wubei, where Infections had been Stopped a Month ago. But the most Worrying is a Local Cluster found at Shulan City, in Jilin Region at the North-East, which was Locked Down, after 11 + 4 New Infections followed these Days a strange initial Local Infection noted Earlier that Week. China said that, at least 7 out of the Total of New Infections Nowadays had been "Imported from Abroad", (1.690 until now). But, a Parallel and Additional Growth of so-called "ASymptomatic" Cases, (20 + 12 New, in a Total of 780 now, which are Not Counted among the New Infections in China), made People express Concern for a Risk of a "2nd Wave" of the Virus, soon.

China, Russia, New York State (USA), and various Other Areas accross the World have Recently Fallen Victims of the Surprising Infections' Spread in the EU, where People were Scandalously Abandoned to be Infected withOut Any Timely Protective Measure at the Borders, (f.ex. vis a vis the NW Italy's "Hotspot") : They Delayed to Close AirFlights from the EU, (Contrary to what they did, Before, vis a vis China itself), so that Many Infected Individuals penetrated unnoticed, until it became too late...

These New, Imported Infections being mostly Dispersed accross Various Areas in the Host Country, it's, Obviously, No More Possible to Apply the Same Method of Total Confinement of just 1 "Hotspot", as China had Succesfully done initialy at Wuhan, since Now there are Many dispersed "Hotspots".

At any case, obviously, ..."Warnings" did Not Lack at all Nowadays, Against Risky and Hasty DeConfinements, as that which was Planned in France for Monday, May 11...

Sarkozy stimulated by Irish "No" challenge : - "It's a call to change and build Europe otherwise. Not later, but now. It won't be easy, but it's fascinating !"

-------------------

* Paris, Elysee, June 14, 2008.

Forthcoming EU Chairman, French President Nikolas Sarkozy, created a surprise by declaring that the challenge of the Irish "No" to the EU Treaty, stimulates his belief that we must immediately change the way Europe is built.

A difficult but fascinating task, that he intends to accomplish in the next 6 Months, during which he will analyse developments 3 times to EU Parliament in Strasbourg, on July, October and December 2008.

But Agenda obliged to give a first reply to Questions raised by the Irish Referendum, on the sidelines of a Press Conference with USA President GWBush, in Paris' Elysee palace, Saturday :

Sarkozy's reply was twofold :

First, the Franco-German position is that EU must make sure "that the Irish Incident does not become a Crisis". Ratification must continue, after 18 EU Member States, also to the rest, as UK Prime Minister Gordon Brown promised.

But, pointing at deeper causes, Sarkozy also criticized bureaucratic "sabotage" of Europe's "founding fathers" original dream. The move reminded his Historic February and July 2007 speaches in Strasbourg on Europe's future, joining criticism to a call for EU's Renaissance, which now became urgent :
