CoE Anti-Corruption body GRECO grows 20 y.o. and eyes +EU Parliament ?

*Strasbourg/CoE/Angelo Marcopolo/- While Political Support for CoE's PanEuropean (Russia included) Anti-Corruption Watchdog "GRECO", even by the EU, appeared quite Strong, in its 20th Anniversary Conference in Strasbourg, attended by 5 Ministers of Justice from France (current CoE's President-in-office, for the Period of May-November 2019), the UK, Georgia (Next CoE's rotating Chair, from November 2019 to May 2020), including Member Countries so Different as Albania and Monaco, as well as CoE's Leadership (Secretary General Thornbjorn Jagland and CoE Assembly's President Liliane Maury Pasquier), even EU Commission's 1st Vice-President, Frans Timmerman, etc), on the Contrary, the Horizon of its foreseable Future Missions, even if certainly Ambitious, nevertheless, looked still subject to Discussion, as it also seemed to raise some UnExpectedly "Spicy" and Topical Areas or Issues...
Just after Timmermans concluded his landmark Speech, significantly placed right at the Middle of that Conference, Between an Experts' concrete Demonstration of "Systemic Challenges" faced by GRECO Nowadays in "Preventing Corruption" and "Promoting Integrity", and a Different, Prospective Session, due to reply to the Question : - "Where to, Next ?", alias "Visions for the Future", Nobody could yet Guess Where this all might Lead to, in Fact, neither Why the Frontrunner Candidate of the Socialist Group in EU Parliament, (currenly amidst Exceptionally Intense InFight for EU's Top 5 Jobs during the Crucial Period of 2019-2024), would be interested into making an all Round Trip from Brussels to Strasbourg and back, only in order to Support an EU Commission's demand to Become an "Observer" inside CoE's PanEuropean Anti-Corruption body asap.

- But, here, Experienced Professor Michele Nicoletti, from Italy's University of Trento, former President of CoE's PanEuropean Parliamentary Assembly, and Chairman of the Socialist Group of MEPs, makes a very Energetic Intervention, Focused on "a ReNewed Perspective", where, inter alia, he stigmatises also some "Nationalists"' (or "Sovereignists"') Politicians' alleged trend to generally DisTrust such International Anti-Corruption Bodies, by accusing them to be, in Fact, Tools of a "Global Elite !"... But he Welcomes the Active role that GRECO Recently played in an Exceptional "Corruption Crisis" even inside CoE's PaEuropean, 47 Member Countries' wide, Parliamentary Assembly's (PACE) MEPs, (which notoriously Resulted also in the Dismissal of a Suspended PACE's President, of a Chairman of the Biggest Political Group : that of ChristianDemocrats/EPP, and of several important MEPs from various Countries, according to a concluding Report published by former ECHR's President, Sir Nicolas Bratza, from the UK.
+ Even More Concrete, GRECO's vice-President Agnès Maitrepierre, adds also some Wider Perspectives, inter alia, also by Observing, f.ex., the Fact that various Other International Organisations, as the EU, the WTO, etc, have Already started to make appeals to CoE's GRECO in order to prepare "Guidelines" for Civil Servants vis a vis alleged "Lobbyists", or the Legal Basis of "Deontology", etc., Raising the Question whether it would, indeed, "develop a kind of Consulting role", as she said, with a Wider Outreach.
++ So that, when even GRECO's President himself, Martin Mrcela from Croatia, (Comp. various Mrcela's Replies to "Eurofora"s Questions, at other occasions, f.x., at : ..., +... , etc), feels necessary to Add also a vibrant Defence of GRECO's alleged trend to "Use too much the Press" Medias, as some National Government Officials have reportedly Complained, then, by Simply Adding all those Above mentioned Dots, "Eurofora" Guesses that, perhaps, a Time has come to at least raise a Question, to Emmanuel Faraht, an Expert of the brand new Anti-Corruption Agency of France (current CoE's President for the Period of May - November 2019), whose Director, Charles Duchaine, has just Concluded this International Conference's Debates with a vibrant Call for "a ReinForced Cooperative approach", about Whether GRECO might usefuly serve also in order to Check and Advise, on Anti-Corruption Issues, inside the New EU Parliament itself...
=> The spontaneous Reply of that Young French Expert is Diplomatic, but Positive : - As a matter of General Principle, naturally, "More Organisations feel the need to Fight against Corruption, the Better it is !". And this is made even Crystal-clear by the Experienced Italian Professor Nicoletti, former PACE's President (Comp. Supra), himself, who, Questioned also by "Eurofora" on that Same Issue, Replied Explicitly, withOut any hesitation, but just a Smiling "Yes !", about the above-mentioned matter concerning, eventually, EU Parliament !
+++ Now, when, to all that, is even Added the Fact that the Key, former "Liberal", renamed "ReNew Europe", Group of MEPs in the New EU Parliament, (where, among others, were also included French President Emmanuel Macron's MEPs), has just Decided to Elect as its New President, the well known former EU Commissioner, and former Prime Minister of Romania, Dacian Siolos, (who, notoriously considers as one of his most Important Achievements recently the "Fight against Corruption", and holds in addition, very Close Relations with the "Anti-Corruption" Political Party of Romania, which has Endorsed him several times), [+Partly UPDATED], then, "Eurofora"s above-mentioned Question, obviously becomes absolutely Logical...
+ However, in the meantime, it's not only France and othes, but Also the UK which seems Interested at CoE's GRECO, (in line, however, about UK's naturally Extended Interest for the CoE, since the "BREXIT" developments vis a vs the EU, as ilustrates also the diligent and active Presence, Today in that CoE's Conference, of the British Ambassador/Permanent Representative, who spoke with "Eurofora" on this occasion.
++ This is Added also to ...USA's recent Accession to CoE's AntiCorruption Body, probably presaging some Interesting developments in the foreseable Future !

Right's Unity at Madrid Deal =Key for "Reconquista" in Spain+ (Incl.VOX, founded by EUParliament 1vP
*Strasbourg/Angelo Marcopolo/- The Winning Deals between the Center-Right Party of "Citizens", the Mainstream Right ChristianDemocrats/EPP, and the Rightist New Party of "Vox", which succeeded Today to Accede to Power in the Capital of Spain, Madrid, and more than 4 Other Important Cities, after the Recent Municipal Elections of 26 May 2019 throughout the Country, are Key for a possible Political "ReConquista" throughout All the Country, where the Mainstream "Popular Party" will naturally play a "Central" Role, observed the Historic Spanish Newspaper "ABC" Today.
Already, a similar (even if not entirely identic) move had notoriously been done for the Regional Government in Andalusia (South), between the Citizens, the Popular Party, and Vox, Earlier on.
Now, in Addition to taking over the Management of Spain's Capital City Madrid, this succesfull Trio reportedly went on to take over also in Saragoza, Malaga and Murcia, among the Country's Biggest Cities. As well as in Almeria, Cordoba, Teruel, Santander, Salamanca, Palencia, Badajoz, Orense and Alicante, etc.

But he still writes and Publishes some Interesting Articles on Topical European Issues, as, f.ex., Recently, on Early May 2019, at "VozPopuli" Media, about how could be the New EU Parliament due to be Elected this time :
- There, it's Obvious that it's someone interested in a European Integration !
On the Contrary, in the Past, a lot of Criticism vis a vis the Traditional Right of the Establishment, (where he used to Belong, during a Longue Period of Time), were mainly about various Topical BioEthical Issues, such as, f.ex.: The Controversial and UnPopular "Marriage" between Homosexuals, Abortions, etc, when he accused his old friends of the EPP to have fallen into a kind of "Moral Relativism", similar to that of "Socialists"...
But Now, it's the 1st Time that a kind of Unity of all the Right in Spain has managed to Win so Many and Important Cities, using a succesfull Formula which could also serve for the Entire Country, (Comp. Supra)...

CoE Chair, French EUMinister Montchalin on Russia/EU Enlargment/BREXIT/Germany/Economy+Democracy Now

*Strasbourg/BNU/Angelo Marcopolo/- Logically KickStarting in Strasbourg's National University Library the "First" in a forthcoming Series of Periodical Dialogues between Ministers and Citizens on Topical Issues of common interest, where European Journalists, including "Eurofora", had been Invited, the current CoE's President-in-office : Young new French Minister for European affairs, Amelie de Montchalin, Aged Just 33 y.o., Surprized from the outset by Appearing as a much more Mature, well Grown up Human Personality than one would guess, (that we had just Crossed in the Past, but not really met, except from a vivid Memory of her Interrogative, Serious and profound eyesight).
Interestingly and Topically Starting and Concluding by the state and perspectives of Democracy Nowadays, just after the May 2019 EU Elections, this exercice followed a Long Thread piercing through Various Issues : Global Economy, Germany, EU's Enlargement in Western Balkans, CoE and Russia/Turkey, BREXIT, East/West European Countries, Young People's prospects, etc, (See Infra).

- Replying to a 1st Critical Question, which Opposed the Fact that no less than 34 Political Parties had just contested the Latest EU Parliament's Elections in France, (in a Similar move as, also, in Other Key EU Countries, as, f.ex., Germany, a.o.), while Establishment Medias' overall behavior, including allocaated Time for Public Debate, made some Doubt "if Democracy was Real" Nowadays, Amelie de Montchalin went right to the Essenials :
- "First of all, I am a Citizen, working Family Mother of 3, and Not a Professional Politician. Because, Politics, for me, are like a Mission !", she stressed from the outset.
This came from someone who had personaly chosen to make University Studies, in Parallel, Both on History, at Paris' prestigious Sorbonne, (where President Macron presented his main Proposals for Changes and Reforms in Europe on 2017, and "Eurofora" had a Chance to meet Simone Weil on 2010: See ..,), as well as, also, on Economy, at Paris-Dauphine. While, (by an Irony of the Sort for a European and even French), she studied "Public Administration" in a Master at ...USA's "Harvard Kennedy School", (named after the Legendary Murdered President John F. Kennedy, Brother of the even more Legendary Robert Kennedy, also Murdered soon afterwards). Economy became her main Job, both in the Private Sector, in EU Commission, and as a specialized MP, before, at last, Fusionning Together with History, from this Year 2019, as New EU Minister.
- In Democracy it's Better Not to always Delegate Everything to Others, But also for Citizens to be Committed and Participate, advised de Montchalin, Expressing her Satisfaction for a "Record" High, Popular Turnout of an Absolute Majority of 51% of Voters in the Recent EU Elections, for the 1st Time in the Last 20 Years (1999 - 2019).
- In fact, this Government is "Trying to promote the Emergence of a Deliberative and Participatory Democracy", she Stressed, (indirectly, but surely, Refering, inter alia, also to Macron's landmark Speech of September 2017, Symbolically given at Athens' Acropolis' "Pnix" Rock, where Ancient Greek Direct Democracy had been Invented and practiced, But also, interestingly Near to "Eurofora'"'s 1997-2019 Project for Dialogue, with Modern Technologies, between Citizens and Public Administrations Before Important Decisions are taken which Affect their LIves and/or Society at large).

Supra), she also stressed that, "a real Democracy, Obliges" its Agents "to be Accountable" vis a vis the People, and "to Explain" the main Issues, as well as to "Make Visible their Activities", and, "Most of all : to Reply to Citizens' concerns".

In Addition, since that March-April 2018 Consultation, there has Not Been any other, New Public Consultation, Not even After the Heritable Gene Editing Scandal of November 2018 (Comp. - Even if Adelie de Montchelin didn't have Today an opportunity to speak more Explicitly about this Concrete Issue, nevertheless, she Topically stressed the General Importance for Democracy Nowadays, to hold Sufficient Public Debates, and Exchanges of Citizens with Public Administrations on such Crucial Matters for the People, (and, in this particular case : even for all Society and Humanity at large, Comp. Supra), speaking in Strasbourg Today, i.e. shortly After a landmark CoE's Conference, precisely, on "Public Debate" for the "Governance of New Technologies", (See: ..., etc), and as "Eurofora" has just Registered, for possible "Lab" Discussions at the forthcoming "World Forum of Democracy" (November 2019), also our Project, nick-named here "4D" (for "Digital Democratic Dialogue in Decision-Making", between Citizens and Politicians before Measures affecting their Lives and/or Society at large, in Modern Democracy", probably in cooperation with Strasbourg University's "Institute of Research Carré de Malberg", where we are attached as Doctorant for a State PhD Thesis on relevant Legal aspects), after having briefly but topicaly evoked that move also with the CoE's French Presidency's Top Diplomat, Ambassador Mattei, (who encouraged us), as well as CoE's competent Director for Democratic Governance, Claudia Luciani. Meanwhile, de Montchelin, speaking Both as French EU Minister, and CoE's President in office, Announced, Today, also an Intention to Develop further Europe's "Budgets for Citizenship".

* Starting to Deal with various other Concrete Issues, the French EU Minister replied to a Question on President Macron's recent Speech, at nearby Geneva, to the International Labour Organisation, on some Strategic Changes in Economy :
- She chose to Highlight mainly the facts that the Economy needs, nowadays, to Better Use its Natural Resources, i.e. in a more Ecological way. Meanwhile, the WorkForce needed a lot of Adequate Education and Training. Last but not least, in order to avoid "a Capitalism going Astray", Workers should get enough to survive from their salaries : For that purpose, it would be good to introduce a kind of "Minimum Wage", which should be Calculated Not in abstract terms, same for all, (because the Living Standards Varied widely among EU Member Countries), but in relation to the 50% of the Median Wage in Each Country.

* Among the Other Questions raised to ADM, one concerned the Franco-German Relations, and particularly the cases of possible Disagreements :
- Germany, sometimes, appears to be "Different", from France. "What should be done ?", she resumed, diplomatically, (in this Delicate Issue, from which obviously depends Europe's Present and foreseable Future).
Significantly, Amelie de Montchalin carefully avoided, here, anything which might, eventually, be perceived as a counter-poductive or damaging provocation, Contrary to anOther, inexperienced French politician, who would have Recently gone as far, according to Press Reports, as to blatantly claim, in Brussels, that, Nowadays, "Europe's Problem is Merkel" (sic !)...
- In fact, most Often, the Main point is that the 2 Countries have "Different Political Systems", the New French Minister for EU Affairs prefered to Focus on :
- Indeed, France has a Presidential system, while Germany basically has a Parliamentary one. So, while in France main Decisions can be Taken or Hihlighted by the President of the Republic, on the Contrary, in Germany, they have to be taken by the Parliament (Bundestag), where there are "Tensions", and "a Need for Compromises", therefore, "Negotiations" (among Political Parties).
=> So, several times, when France advances an Idea on Europe, Germany might seem to Refuse that, but, in Fact, it simply "is Not Ready, yet", f.ex., because this might need some Months' time, she estimated.
+ Meanwhile, concerning, f.ex. "AKK", (i.e. Angie Merkel's Ally, Friend and Successor in the Governing, CDU Party), Amelie de Montchalin, observed, inter alia, also the Fact that she is "from Sarre", i.e. not far away from here, "knows" how to work together with France, etc.
>>> At any case, France's way to seek Agreement, usually is to Speak and Explain, as well as to Present concret Projects, and Try to Attract other Partners together, she observed.

* As current PanEuropean CoE's President in Office, for the Period of May - Novembe 2019, naturally, the French Minister could Not Avoid a Question on the most "Hot" and Topical Issue of Russian MEP's eventual Return, back to CoE's Parliamentary Assembly, after More than 4 Years of an UnPrecedented Absence, since a Manipulative Minority of MEPs had Voted too Heavy "Sanctions" against their Participation, Speech and Voting Rights, under Pretext of the Controversial Ukraine's Conflict, since 2014, (See, f.ex.: ..., ..., .., etc), in Reaction to which, Moscow has Suspended its Annual Financial Contribution to CoE's Budget from 2017, resulting Nowadays in a situation where even CoE's "Programs for Young People" were reportedly Threatened, Nowadays, to be "Cut" for Economy, as a participant denounced !
+ Given the Fact that the CoE was notoriously Preparing, for this June 2019 in Strasbourg, an Important Attempt to, at last, put a Full Stop, on such Problems (See: ..., etc), the French Presidency's CoE's President-in-office was also asked Today whether, by Solving that Russian Issue, they could also Solve the Problem of Turkey, (who had Earlier asked to Extend the Number of its MEPs to Strasbourg up to the Highest possible level : that of "Grand Payeur" ["Big Payer"], i.e. of those CoE Member States who Pay the Biggest possible Annual Financial Contribution to the CoE's Budget, but, Afterwards, Ankara's Government, Suddenly decided to Stop Paying that Higher Price, WithOut, however, to Lower the Number of its MEPs at the CoE Back to its Previous Level (sic !), thus Obtaining an Undue Benefit, to the Detriment of CoE's already Strained Budget, (and Even withOut Any Previous Warning) !..
Amelie de Montchalin, in her Answer, replied in General Terms, as a matter of Principle :
- "CoE is a Wonderful Organisation", which allows to All 800+ Millions of Citizens of its 47 Member States to Directly Apply to the ECHR in Strasbourg, whenever they might feel that their Human Rights have been Violated, she underlined from the outset.
=> That's why we are Trying to ensure that All those Countries can stay Full Members of the CoE, and, Naturally, in that case, they Have All to fully Pay their Annual Financial Contribution, so that CoE's Budget has no more problems, including that for Young People policies, she highlighted in reply.
- Obviously, in order to obtain that, it's also necessary to make some very delicate Diplomatic Efforts : F.ex. you know the Situation in Ukraine, the French EU Minister simply evoked, (while the New Ukranian President, Zelensky, recently Elected, is reportedly due to Meet with French President Macron, next Monday in Paris).
>>> But, at this moment, "I have Good Hope" that things would Go Well, particularly in (crucial) CoE's Meetings that we'll have in about 15 Days (at the PanEuropean Organisation's Parliamentary Assembly's Plenary Session of Summer 2019, where she is due to personally participate, address the Assembly, and Reply to MEP's Questions, as Representative of the French Presidencty of CoE's Highest Political Body : that of its Committee of Ministers).
- For that purpose, I have Carefully Examined the overall Situation, and Spoken with Many People Nowadays, Amelie de Montchalin added, (probably evoking mainly a recent Important Meeting, in Paris, of CoE Assembly's powerfull "Standing" Committee, and Not only Today in Strasbourg), but withOut explicitly citting concrete Details.

* Her Replies were Longer to Questions concerning EU's Enlargement and Other Policies, mainly towards the Western Balkans, and relevant moves vis a vis Northern Macedonia and Albania.
EU Commission has recently Published its Report on such matters, (shortly After the EU Elections), and such issues are due to be Discussed by EU's Foreign and EU affairs Ministers "Next Tuesday in Luxembourg", where de Montchalin will represent France, as she simply noted.
- But, Amelie de Montchalin Denied a Claim that France might have Already officially decided (as well as the Netherlands, etc) to Refuse the Opening of Accession Negotiations with Northern Macedonie and Albania : In fact, there is "Not Yet" any Official French Policy on that precise point, she stressed, at least for the Time being.
- The Only thing that President Macron has said, in this regard, is that he does Not feel that the Time is ripe Nowadays for Any EU Enlargement, (reportedly as long as Europe has Not yet made Significant Advances towards a ambitious and efficient Integration), she reminded, as a matter of General Principle.
+ This Key Point was Confirmed, also by a Written Official Press Statement Published, later Today, by the French Foreign Ministry in Paris, which also Insists, as a matter of Principle, on the Need for all aspiring Countries, to make Sufficient Efforts to really fullfill the Numerous Conditions set up by the EU, withOut any pre-determined Time Deadline.
- De Montchalin prefered, in Strasbourg, to Focus on the main character of the various decisions concerning EU's Enlargement, as "a long Processus" :
- F.ex., we shall speak about that, Next Week (June 2019) a Luxembourg, (Comp. Supra), while I have Meetings with the Foreign Ministers of Northern Macedonia recently and Albania even Today, and, Afterwards, we shall anew speak again on September, etc., she Simply highlighted.
On this occasion, the French EU affairs Minister acknowledged that Northern Macedonia has recently made Progress, including in the Agreement with Greece, etc., while, another Press Release from the Foreign Ministry in Paris, on her meeting with Albania's Foreign Minister, reminded, inter alia, also the Efforts that Countries aspiring for EU Accesion must accomplish, including on "irregular Migration", etc.

- The USA will be able to "Rapidly" Arrest and Return Back to Mexico ALL those Trespassing the Borders towards the North. On the Contrary, according to that EU - Turkey Deal, it's Only those who did Not Lodge any Asylum Demand, or whose Demand was Rejected, who should Return Back to Turkey...
=> So that the Mass Asylum Seekers "may Await" the Result of their Demand in Mexico, which will accept them "for Humanitarian reasons", and "also offer Jobs, Healthcare and Education". A stuborn Refusal, by the Turkish Government, to adequately Reform its Legislation, in order to fulfill some elementary Human Rights and Democracy Issues, which are elementary Conditions for any "Visa Free" regime eventually attributed to anybody by the EU, as well as the increasingly UnPopular character of Turkey's Massive "Visa-Free" Claims inside the EU, added to the above-mentioned Dangers, (Comp. Supra), made the EU Politicians decide to Skip that Controversial point, which went Out of the Agenda, (even if Ankara, reportedly still aims to try to bring it back, on the table of negotiations, at the first occasion)...

- How, then, did the New US President, Don Trump, achieve that Result ? The United States and Mexico met this week to address the shared challenges of irregular migration, to include the entry of migrants into the United States in violation of U.S. law. Given the dramatic increase in migrants moving from Central America through Mexico to the United States, both countries recognize the vital importance of rapidly resolving the humanitarian emergency and security situation. The Governments of the United States and Mexico will work together to immediately implement a durable solution.
As a result of these discussions, the United States and Mexico commit to:
Mexican Enforcement Surge
Mexico will take unprecedented steps to increase enforcement to curb irregular migration, to include the deployment of its National Guard throughout Mexico, giving priority to its southern border. Mexico is also taking decisive action to dismantle human smuggling and trafficking organizations as well as their illicit financial and transportation networks.
Additionally, the United States and Mexico commit to strengthen bilateral cooperation, including information sharing and coordinated actions to better protect and secure our common border.
Migrant Protection Protocols
The United States will immediately expand the implementation of the existing Migrant Protection Protocols across its entire Southern Border. This means that those crossing the U.S. Southern Border to seek asylum will be rapidly returned to Mexico where they may await the adjudication of their asylum claims.
In response, Mexico will authorize the entrance of all of those individuals for humanitarian reasons, in compliance with its international obligations, while they await the adjudication of their asylum claims. Mexico will also offer jobs, healthcare and education according to its principles.
The United States commits to work to accelerate the adjudication of asylum claims and to conclude removal proceedings as expeditiously as possible.
Further Actions
Both parties also agree that, in the event the measures adopted do not have the expected results, they will take further actions.
Therefore, the United States and Mexico will continue their discussions on the terms of additional understandings to address irregular migrant flows and asylum issues, to be completed and announced within 90 days, if necessary.
Ongoing Regional Strategy
The United States and Mexico reiterate their previous statement of December 18, 2018, that both countries recognize the strong links between promoting development and economic growth in southern Mexico and the success of promoting prosperity, good governance and security in Central America. The United States and Mexico welcome the Comprehensive Development Plan launched by the Government of Mexico in concert with the Governments of El Salvador, Guatemala and Honduras to promote these goals.
The United States and Mexico will lead in working with regional and international partners to build a more prosperous and secure Central America to address the underlying causes of migration, so that citizens of the region can build better lives for themselves and their families at home.

Contrary to MisLeading recent claims about an alleged Backtracking of Voters towards "Socialist"/Left Parties, Facts show that People strive to reach Real and More Change, mainly through various stronger, new or revovated atypical Rightist Parties, and potential Allies of the Right/Center-right :

=> Indeed, this becomes even more Obvious by the Succesful Creation and Nowadays Development of anOther, brand "New Right" Party, of even More Convinced "Rightists", which Started by Winning, Today, + 4 MPs, for the First Time !

* FINLAND : What is happening Nowadays in Denmark (Comp. Supra), looks, indeed, (mutatis-mutandis), as Part of a Wider, Recent Trend in European People to "Punish" politically those who are perceived as "Betraying", UnWilling or UnAble to boost the popular Rightists' main Principles :
=> The most Obvious Recent Example of that phenomenon, is the Spectacular Electoral ...Catastrophe, on April 2019, of All those 20 MPs and Ministers, originally from the atypical Rightist Party "Real Finns"' , who had Earlier Split Away from their Party, in order to Stick to an Out-Going Coalition Government led by Establishment's Traditional politicians, by fabricating a makeshift "Reformist" Party :
>>> When the Time came for a People's Vote (on 14/4/2019's National Elections), they were ALL Wiped Out by Finland's Citizens, Unable to Elect Any MP (sic !), and condemned to get Only ...Less than One per cent of the Votes : 0,97% !
On the Contrary, the Faithful Wing of the "Real Finns" atypical Rightist Party, on April 2019 Elections, not only Won Back all those +20 MP Seats from which it had been provisionaly deprived by that Secession, (Comp. Supra), but, Morever, it Even Advanced further, among others, also by Gaining anOther More MP Seat now !
So that those ReVigorated "Real Finns", Now clearly Confirmed their stable Position at a Rank Equivalent to that of the ...1st Party of the Country, (with 39 instead of 40 MPs, and a "difference" of Votes of Only ... -0,24%) !
From a Democratic Principles' point of view, the Political Situation has become so Strange, that a Party continuously Voted by the People at the Top Rank for a 3rd Time in a Row (2011, 2015, 2019), might be Still Excluded from a Government Coalition exclusively composed by Traditional Establishment's Parties, which have Not Yet been able to put it into place until this June...
Which were the main Causes of what Happened in those Latest Elections (Comp. Supra) ?
Many commentators have Notoriously pointed, inter alia, particularly at a Recent big Scandal, revealed on December 2018 - January 2019, about Dozens of Children, mainly Young Girls, having been Sexually Harassed and often Raped, repeatedly, and/or by Groups of Aggressors, (reportedly, once even ..."Inside a Mosque"), mainly composed by Non-European Mass Asylum Seekers/Irregular Migrants having arrived inside Europe through Turkey since 2015-2018+, so Horribly ill-Treated that Recently at least one of those Children Victims (a very Young Girl) reportedly Committed Suicide !
(It's the infamous, Recent "Oulu (City) Child Sexual_Exploitation Scandal" in Finland, which Followed the more Notorious "Rotherham Child Sexual Exploitation Scandal", earlier in the UK, that still continues to make Many Condemnations in British Courts).

* NETHERLANDS : But Finland's case of Horrible Child Abuse (Comp. Supra), is Not the Only main Reason for which, Nowadays, European People become particularly attached to certain atypical, original "Rightist" New Parties. A relevant Recent Case in the Netherlands, helps make that point clear :
Many Noise was Recently made, Notoriously, at Establishment's Medias, about an alleged "Triomphe" of "Socialist" Candidate to EU Commission's Head, Mr. Timmermans, at the Latest EU Parliament's Elections in the Netherlands, held Earlier than others, since 23 May 2016.
Naturally, pushed also by the Extra Publicity given by his Candidacy for the "Socialist" Group of EU Parliament, he, indeed, managed to arrive 1st in those Elections in his own Fatherland, (for the first time)... Thus, he got +3 MEPs More than Before.
- But, many Other Facts, clearly show that, the Real Situation in the Netherlands is Far Away from what Mr. Timmerman's lobby abusively claims :
=> Indeed, Win +3 MEPs in the Latest EU Election, is an exploit achieved Not Only by the "Socialists", but Also by the New ..."Rightist" Party of the "Forum for Democracy" (FvD), headed by Derk Jan Eppink, who got also +3 MEPs, for the first time !
+ In Addition, the "Conservative-Liberal" Party "VVD" also Won anOther + 1 MEP more than before..., while the Other Rightists, (Members of EU Parliament's "Conservative" Group "ECR"), of "CU-SGP", with Peter van Dalen, managed, at least, to still Keep their 2 MEPs, and Center-Right ChristianDemocrats/EPP Group's members of the "CDA", led by Esther de Lange, were able too keep a least 5 out of 6 among their MEPs, (etc).
=> In these Conditions, it's Not just ... One (+1) MEP Alone, added to the "Greens-EFA", (while, on the Contrary, Centrist Liberals of Sophie in't Veld's "D66" ...Lost - 2 MEPs !), who might, eventually, change anything... So, How could Mr. Timmermans, eventually, get a Majority for his side ? Perhaps, only with Anja Hazekamp's 1 MEP for her "Party for the Animals" (sic) ?...
>>> However, in Fact, what is More Important, in these 2019 Dutch EU Elections is Not Mr. Timmermans, but, on the Contrary, what happened now with the Rightist Party of the Country, Geert Wilders' famous "Freedom Party" ("PVV") :
- Suddenly, while it had Succesfully participated in Various Other Elections during many Years, until now, Wilders' "Freedom Party" was ...Totally Excluded in the Latest EU Parliament's Election, where, UnExpectedly, he didN't get Not even one (1) MEP !
- Why such a Big Surprise ?
It seems that there are, at least, 2 concurring Relevant New Facts, which could have been the real Causes for that event :
(A) First, "PVV"'s overall Credibility among Rightists, apparently Suffered by the UnPrecedented Revelation, (with a lot of Publicity, obviously politically Exploited), of the Fact that a Former MP of that Party, and alleged former Close Assistant to Wilders himself : Joram van Klaveren, had Recently ... "Converted" to Islam (sic !), and was even Becoming a Publicist making positive Propaganda for the ...Coran, (in a Book reportedly due to be Published asap) !
Even if van Klaveren had already Left the "PVV" Party since 2014, (precisely on an alleged Disagreement with Wilders about Morrocan Muslim Migrants), followed by a Failed Attempt to Launch a New Party, for which, Nobody Voted, and nonobstant the fact that Wilders Now expressed his "Surprize" for such a Convertion on 2019, by calling it Synonymous, f.ex., to "a Vegan seekig a Job at a Slaughterhouse" (sic !), Nevertheless, the Mediatic Exploitation of such an event, obviously, Harmed the "Freedom Party" in these 2019 EU Elections.
Naturaly, here, the Reason for Droping the "PVV" Party, was Not in order to Abandon its main Ideas and Principles, but, on the Conrary, in order to Stress that they Must be Respected.
(B) However, such a Total Exclusion of PVV, with, Suddenly, Not even 1 MEP elected, (instead of 2 or 3, as it had been expected before that), could Not be All Due Only to that Incident, given also that, obviously, any Islamic Lobby might easily Pay a Failed former-politician, meanwhile gone broke, to eventually Harm his Former Boss, with whom he had, already, Quarrelled in the Past...
=> Thus, there should, also, be Something Else, and, perhaps, even More Important, in order to Convince all those People who always Supported Wilders' "Freedom Party", to, Suddenly, Drop it Massively on 2019 EU Elections :
>>> Indeed, Facts clearly show that, almost at the Same Time, it's even a New Competitor Rightist Party, that of the "Forum for Democracy" ("FvD"), set up by Thierry Baudet, which had just Started to Compete Elections in the Netherlands, aiming, First of all, to offer an Alternative at the Right side of the Political Spectrum.
+ But, it also adds a Critical Analysis of the Political System, Denouncing the current Representative Democracy as a mechanism for Political Parties to Share Power among them, Over the Head of the People, so that it Asks for more Direct Democracy, with binding Referenda, Direct Election of Prime Minister and Mayors, a Government of Elected APolitical Civil Servants instead of Ministers, (etc).
=> I.e., simply showing that People don't want, no more, to stay Limited into Only Protecting their Security and Defending their Country's Historic/Cultural Identiy, etc., by Opposing Islamist Terrorism and Non-European Mass Migration, etc., But Also to Seek an Amelioration and Development of their Living Conditions, by some Positive, Proactive Policies of their Choice.
So, that kind of Replacement of one Rightist Party by anOther, judged by the People (rightfully or wrongly : it's not for us to tell, for the time being) as More Efficient or Productive, is just a normal aspiration for Citizens towards what they believe to be a Better Reply to the Problems provoked to their lives and/or to all the Society at large by a Questionable or Failing political Establishment. The Future will tell whether this, or that way, was, indeed, the More Efficient in order to Make things Change for the Better.
Meanwhile, a any case, the Greater Number of Dutch MEPs stand at the Right Side of the Political Spectrum, (13 compared to 11 for the Left), Even if one counted "ALDE"'s Sophie in't Veld among the latter : Something which is Not Obvious at all...

*BELGIUM : Dealing with such a "Hot" European Issue, what's Best than to Conclude right at the Heart of Belgium, in Brussels ?
There, a National Election with a Surprizing outcome, Symbolically took place On the 26th of May 2019, i.e. the very Same Day for most Votes in the European Elections, (whose Results, particularly concerning Belgium, were Even More Surprizing, and in the Same Direction : See Infra) :
- While most Estabishment's Medias were routinelly Extending, there too, their Blind Leit-Motiv Claim about a so-called "Socialist" Come-Back, (obviously peppered with a Mr. Timmerman's reference someplace...), mixed with a "Green" Wave, almost Everywhere they could Find Incredulous Naive, massively captive auditors, to Listen only to them, (and, here too, this had a Small Part of Truth, with a Leftist Party and 2 Tiny "Greens" getting, indeed, More Votes than before, at the French-Speaking side of Belgium),
>>> Nevertheless, the Real Big Thing, unquestionably was that Huge Surge of the "Rightist" Party "Vlaams Belang", of Tom van Grieken, which Won the Largest Growth of People's Votes in this 2019 Election : +15 MPs More than Before !
Comparatively, Only the Leftist, former "Communist" (ex-Maoist-inspired in the Past), "Workers' Party", of Peter Mertens, mainly at the French-Speaking region, also Won some +10 MPs More than Before. (Ie. Revealing an ..."Italy-like", "Rightist+Leftist" Paradox, mutatis-mutandis visible also, in Various Forms, f.ex. in the French "Yellow Jackets", or, mutatis-mutandis, even at US President Don Trump's landmark Inauguration Speech at Ohio's Cleveland City, back on July 2016, etc). But those Leftists got Only about 8% of the Votes, while the Rightists got 12%.
For the Rest, just 2 Small "Green" Parties, also at the French-speaking Region of Wallonie, Won a bit Less : +7 and +2 MPs More than Before, But with Tiny Scores of 6% of the Votes each, Headed by Zakia Khatabbi and Meyrem Almaci.
All Other Parties (and they are Many : Small and Big) curiously LOST (more or less) MP Seats in this Strange 2019 Belgium's Election : Particularly those which were Closer to the Traditional Establishment, as, f.ex., the Flamish Nationalists of Bart de Wever's "N-VA" ( - 8 MPs Less than before), "the "Reformists" of current Prime Minister Charles Michel, ( - 6 MPs Less), ou the ChristianDemocrats of Wouter Beke (also - 6 MPs), the Flamish "Socialist" Party of John Crombez ( - 4 MPs Less), as well as Wallonia's "Socialists" of Elio di Rupo ( - 3 MPs Less), etc.

=> In such a new Situation, inevitably, the Question Number 1, after that Election, appeared to be (as several Medias noted) whether a Controversial "Boycott"-like Isolation in the Past of those Rightists of "Vlaams Belang" (Comp. Supra), which had, Until Now, a priori Excluded them from any possible Alliance for a New Government, will be, at last, Droped for the Future, or not yet...
>>> This Topical Question was, particularly, raised, First of all, to the Biggest Party of the Country : the Flamish Conservatives of Bart De Wever (25 MPs, with more of 16 % of the Votes), who reportedly Agreed, Now, that an Eventual Coalition with those Rightists of "Vlaams Belang", (18 MPs, and 12% of the Votes), has to be Examined, (while also Claiming that he had Never Officially endorsed any kind of Boycott in the Past)...
+ Together, those 2 Biggest Parties of the Country have got now More than + 28 % of the Votes, and 43 MPs, (while All Other Parties Only got Less than 10% each : from 9% to 2% of the Votes, and just 20 to 2 MPs each). This Fact makes an eventual Coalition new Government with those 2 Frontrunners, (i.e. the Rightists of "VB" included), Obviously, the most Easy Solution for the formation of a new Coalition Government.
=> For that purpose, (and given also the "Hard" Precedent of ...351 Days of Delays in order to prepare a Coalition Government, Back on 2010-2011 in Belgium, that many Reminded also now), the King Philippe met with All Political Leaders, (including, this time, even of "Vlaams Belang"'s Rightists', for the 1st Time since ...1936 !), and gave an official Mission of "Information" to Experienced, mainstream Top Politicians Lanotte ("Socialist") and Reynders ("Reformist"/ChristianDemocrat-EPP), with a significantly Short Time Deadline for their Report, expected, precisely ...Tomorrow : on 6 June 2019.
>>> Didier Reynders' opinion, (Many Times Minister, incl. on Foreign affairs, Defence, Economy, etc, and vice-Prime Minister), is particularly awaited by European/PanEuropean/International Observers, as, by a Timely Coincidence, he is, Nowadays, also a Frontrunner Candidate (among 2) for the Top Job of PanEuropean CoE's new Secretary General, for a Period of at leas 5 Years, during 2019-2024, starting from the Autumn, but according to a Crucial Election Vote, scheduled at CoE's Parliamentary Assembly, precisely on this ...June 2019, i.e. just a few Weeks time from Now !
The point is that 47 Member Countries-strong (including Russia+), and Strasbourg-based CoE, (that Reynders has already Chaired, for 6 Months, in the Recent Past, during Belgium's Rotating Presidency of its Committee of Ministers : Comp. f.ex. Reynders' reply to "Eurofora" Question published at ...., etc), holds a Strong and Specific Reputation as being the PanEuropean Organisation (also with a growing Global out-Reach in certain areas, including a Special Status even for the USA, Canada, Mexico, Japan, etc) for Human Rights, Democracy, and Rule of Law :
=> In consequence, His Opinion,(particularly on the Crucial Issue of the Inclusion or Exclusion of the Winner "Rightist" Party "Vlaams Belang" of Van Grieken, in Negotiations for a New Coalition Government in Belgium : Comp. Supra), is due to have a Special Impact, throughout all Europe.
This could, obviously, become even More Important, also in real Practice, obviously, if Reynders might be, eventually, elected, soon, in Strasbourg, as New CoE's Secretary General, before the End of June, by the PanEuropean Organisation's Assembly, where he faces an important competition by his Collegue, also Foreign and Europe Minister, as well as vice-Prime Minister of Croatia, Mariya Pejcinovic - Buric, who has also a Recent Experience as former CoE's President-in-office, (Comp. Buric's reply to "Eurofora"'s questions, inter alia, f.ex., also at: ..., etc), and whose Country will take over, also, EU's rotating Presidency, from January 2020.
+ [NB : Partly UPDATED] Meanwhile, Reynders has reportedly just presented a first version of his Report to the Belgian King (Comp. Supra), but this wasn't judged sufficient in order to settle all the manifold aspects of the issue of how (and when) to form a New Government, so that King Philippe decided to Extend Reynders' and Lanotte's Mission as "Informators", until, at least, June 17.
>>> But Reynders, reportedly, Warned, in a Press Conference in Brussels, earlier Today, that, at any case, one thing is certain : - Nowadays, it's No more Possible to Repeat, even the slightest part of that too Long Delay of ...531 Days in Negotiations for a New Coalition Government in Belgium, as Back on 2010-2011. Sarkozy and Merkel want deals with Obama on European Security at Strasbourg's NATO 2009 Summit

In parallel but concording moves, EU Chair, French President Nicolas Sarkozy and German Chancellor Angie Merkel both invited this week US-President elect, Barack Obama, to discuss important deals breaking new ground on European Security during the NATO's 60 Years Anniversary Summit of Heads of State in Strasbourg, where Obama is expected to make his 1st visit to Europe as a President on April 2009.
Merkel focused mainly on smoother NATO - EU Defence and Security policy cooperation, while Sarkozy spoke about PanEuropean Security, associating both Russia and the USA, proposing to freeze missile and shields' deployement until an agreement is reached.
But both tackled some hard nuts to crack : Turkey's VETO against the participation of EU Member Cyprus to EU-NATO cooperation, and Russia's anouncement on deployment of missiles up to Kaliningrad, at EU's belly, in reply to USA's wish to set up missile shields in EU States such as Poland or Czech Republic, etc.

- "Certainly...one of the points that we'll dicuss with the New US President", Barak OBAMA, "who will come f'or the 1st time in Europe as president, at the NATO Summit", co-hosted by France and Germany in Strasbourg, ""concerns, above all, the European Security and Defence Policy" (ESDP), and "the relations between NATO and its partners", with whom it should "work together", anounced earlier this week Merkel.
We must find "a reasonable and adequate concept to articulate NATO and European Security and Defense policy", because of a "series of practical issues, sometimes difficult to understand", but that "we must discuss".
- "An example" of that is "the issue of Cyprus and Turkey", said Merkel, where Ankara raises problems "from Kosovo up to Afghanistan", as also CoE's chair, Swedish Foreign Minister Carl Bildt recently observed in Strasbourg replying to EuroFora's questions.
- "We must do something to smoothen this problem for good, and not only on a case-by-case basis, laboriously negotiated each time". Here, we must find "a reasonable and adequate concept to articulate NATO and European Security and Defense policy", Merkel stressed.
- "With good will from all sides, it could and should be posible. Germany wants also to help on that". Otherwise, "the coming generations will not understand why it took Decades to do so". But, if we "don't even achieve that for Decades, this would be an Historic Failure !", the German Chancellor warned
- "I think that our American partners are increasingly realizing that", Merkel said, pleading for "a stronger European Security and Defence policy, with which, I believe, the Atlantic Security Partnership can also strengthen and solidify".
Meanwhile, USA is also due to take in 2009 a special status inside EU-led EUROCORPS, the European Army HeadQuarters, based in Strasbourg.
Merkel said that after meeting in Berlin with NATO's Secretary General, Jaap de Hoop Scheffer, earlier this week, precisely in order to "prepare NATO's Summit", scheduled for the beginning of April 2009 in Strasbourg.
Scheffe, knows well Strasbourg, since he chaired the CoE, as Holland's Foreign Minister, when he brokered a controversial deal precisely on Turkey and Cyprus about the implementation of ECHR judgements on Greek Cypriot displaced persons' houses and properties in 2003. He returned later at least once, for a WEO meeting at the CoE, where he precisely had highlighted such EU - NATO issues.
EU Commission's 2008 Report on Turkey has just observed that, on European Defense - Security policy, "Turkey continues to object to EU-NATO Cooperation which would involve all EU Member States". "This created Problems for EU-NATO co-operation in the context of Civilian ESDP missions, in particular in Kosovo and Afghanistan".

French EU Chair, President Sarkozy and Merkel are visiting Washington on Friday and Saturday for a Global G-20 Summit with current US President George Bush, on the sidelines of which are expected preparatory contacts with US President-elect Obama's entourage, even if himself might stay in Chicago until he takes over on January 21.
Before going to Washington, Sarkozy concluded today an UE - Russia Summit with Dmitry Medvedev, where they "spoke in length on PanEuropean Security" :
- As EU President, I proposed that we meet on mid-2009 in a framework such as OSCE's in order to set the foundations of a Future Pan-European Security, which would associate Russia and USA, and that, meanwhile, nobody speaks about deploying missiles or shields, which complicate the situation".
- NATO's Summit in Strasbourg-Kehl, on April 2009 is a perfect occasion to discuss with our American friends and to prepare a possible OSCE Summit for these issues f.ex. for June or July", Sarkozy concluded.
- We must all abstain from Unilateral measures" dangerous for Europe's security. "Russia only reacted to decisions taken by some other countries. But if they are ready to cooperate, we are ready to discuss. EU could be an intermediary", added Russian President Dmitry Medvedev, before going himself too at the Washington G-20 Economic Summit.
