*Brussels/EU Summit/Angelo Marcopolo/-German Chancellor Angie Merkel, in a Unique Press-point with the Journalists who remained still at EU Council's Building overNight, at Early Morning, including "Eurofora", speaking after a Longer than expected Debate among EU Heads of State/Government, (which Extended from about 8 p.m. up to almost 2.30 a.m. in the next Morning), announced officially that this EU Summit had not found a Majority for endorsing the job of EU Commission's Future President (2019-2024) the Winner of the latest EU Parliament's Electiosns, (Manfred Weber, Top ChistianDemocrat/EPP Leader).

Therefore, it was decided to  Work Together with EU Parliament, (which Votes on the Candidates) in order to search a Solution for the 30 June - 1st July, (i.e. just before the 1st Plenary Session of the New EU Parliament in Strasbourg. She characteristically abstained, however, from already accepting to drop the Name of Weber from the Top List, without Explaining what this might mean in real practice.

The exceptional Refusal of the Center-Left to apply this year the Principle of  the "SpitzenKandidaten", (i.e. that the Winner of the EU Parliament's Election takes the Top Job), notoriously blocked the situation inside the EU Council.

But Nobody knows yet, what Surprises might give the New EU Parliament, where the Left is a Minority, as the Absolute Majority corresponds to a Unity of the Right. (See : ..., etc)
