CDU Annual Congress: Angie Merkel: - Law or Smugglers at Aegean Sea's EU External Borders ?

*Karlsruhe/CDU Annual 2015 Congress/(Angelo Marcopolo)/- "At a Narrow Straight in the Aegean Sea it's Not Justice and Law who Rule, But it'is abandoned to the Rule of TugBoats and Smugglers", (notoriously Mostly Turkish, with a Few Pakistani Ringleaders, etc). -"This is Unacceptable for us !", Strongly Denounced German Chancellor Angie Merkel in a Key-Point of a Long and Impressive Speech, full of Emotion and European Vision, focused mainly on the Unprecedented "Tsunami" of Mass Iregular Migration/Asylum Seekers from Turkey Tresspassing EU's External Borders through Greece (etc), at the Annual Congress of her Governing ChristianDemocrat/EPP Party at Karlsruhe.

    I.e. significantly and practicaly Near Strasbourg, where EU Parliament's Plenary is due to Debate, inter alia, particularly on Deepening the €uroZone and on the forthcoming EU Summit in Brussels, dedicated, precisely, to that Mass Migration Issue and the Creation of a European Border/CoastGuard, as well as to the Deepening of EU's Common Market, as one of the ways to Deal with the UK Referendum on the Future of its EU Links, where that Mass Migration (to which was Recently Added even a Threat to give "Visa-Free" Access into the EU to 75 Millions of Turks from Mid-2016, See f.ex.: ...) is among British People's Concerns on the current EU situation. .

    -=> Therefore, "I am Glad that the (EU) Commission will submita Proposal, on Wednesday", in Strasbourg, for us (EU) to Develop a European CoastGuard, a European Border Police", Angie Merkel pointed out, in this regard.

    + "All (EU) Member States must take part in that. We canNot Leave 2 or 3 Countries at (EU's) External Borders", she Stressed, Promissing that "the CDU will Strongly Support that" EU-Wide move.

    - Because, Back "on April (2015), when Hundreds of People Drowned in the Mediterranean in one Weekend, a Special EU Heads of State/Government Summit", "had Concluded, ... f.ex., to Rescue People from Disasters and from Smugglers' Brutality", "including by the German Marine, Together with Many Others", (to which was Added, later-on, vis a vis the Southern Mediterranean Coasts, and partuicularly around Nowadays Libyan Coasts, from where Most Mass Immigrants used to come  Towards Europe in the Past).

    - "But, We (EU) had Not yet Found on April the Answer to the Question of the Cause of that Asylum Seekers' Flight, and We had Not Found then the Recipe with which We (EU) could Protect Our External Borders", as she pointed out.

    Even if the German Chancellor has seriously Contributed also to the Following EU Brussels' Summit, that of June 2015, which Decided a Series of Measures to Strengthen FRONTEX's role in the Mediterranean, as well as an EU supported Naval Operation close to the Libyan Coasts, (during which, Italian Prime Minister Rentzi has notoriously Visited, together with EU's High Representative for External Actions, ......, a Military Boat Monitoring Smugglers' movements along the Southern Mediterranean Coasts, during this 2015 Summer). After which, even Italian PM. Rentzi could Announce, last September, that, for the 1st Time after several Years, his Country was Not Now under an Asylum Seekers/Mass Irregular Immigrants' Crisis, No More...

    It's also a Fact that Merkel had Already Warned, since her June 2015 Press Conference in Brussels' EU Summit (See relevant "EuroFora"s NewsReport from the spot, at : http://www.eurofora.net/newsflashes/news/merkelmigrationrefugeesgiantissue.html ), that the Growing then Issue of Irregular Mass Migration/Asylum Seekers Risked to become the Biggest Challenge for the EU and the World.

    Today, something had incited Merkel to place that issue in a Larger Context about "Globalisation", as she said : - "Just as Germany is necessarily a Part of Europe, similarly, Today, Germany and Europe are fully embedded in a Global Order", she Warned.

    => - "That's why, it comes also back into Building "Bridges", from Europe towards Afrika, towards Turkey, towards (far) Asian Countries", Merkel outlined.

    -  "In order to Find Convergence of Interests, which can Make Possible a Peacerful Co-Existence", between Europe and those Other Continents, "Even Now, on Refugee Policy".

     - "In this regard, Turkey, particularly in view of the (Mass Irregular Migrants/Asylum Seekers') Movement that we have at the moment, has a Key-Role to play :  We (EU) must Fight Together against Trafficking of Human Beings and Criminal Smuggling !"

    - That's why "i am very Glad that we (EU) now have an EU Turkey - Plan of Action", she added, (But without Mentionning now the Fact that Ankara asked, at an Exceptional EU-Turkey Summit, to get +3 Billions €, in Full Grants an Acceleration of Turkey's Controversial and UnPopular Bid, and "Visa-Free" Access of 75 Millions of Turks into the EU since Middle 2016 : See, f.ex. : .......).

    -"Let's See what is going on There", that "We (EU) Must Solve Together with Turkey", the German Chancellor Urged, Denouncing precisely that "Unacceptable" "Rule of .. (mainly Turkish) Smugglers", "in the Aegean Sea", Instead of "Justice and Law", at a "Narrow" but Strategic "Straight", (as we've seen Above).

    => Thus, suddenly, "on August 19, the Minister of the Interior, Thomas de Maiziere,  had a New, Updated Forecast for the Number of Expected Asylum Seekers published this Year : Back at the Spring, we (German Government) Believed that they would be 400.000. Then, we had to Increase the Forecast up to 800.000", (i.e. the Double !!..), she revealed.

    Indeed, "EuroFora" had already Found that the 1st move for Free Mass Transports, by ..."Jet"-Propulsed Cruise Ships of Luxury Tourism Compagnies in Greece, Started to be Regularly used, Together with 3 or 4 Other Big Ships of Mass Tourism, Free Buses, Organized Train Transports, etc., on a Regular EveryDay Basis, precisely since the Night of August 15 to 16, (i.e. when Most Christian Majority Populations are Occupied by the Traditional Religious Feast of Mary's Assumption, in the Middle of Summer Holidays, so that they usualy don't pay much attention on what might be going on around them)... First published Statistical Data had, however, already Alerted, since July 2015, about an Unusual Sharp Rise of the Number of Mass Irregular Immigrants/Asylum Seekers arriving in Greece from Turkey. And several Eye-Witnesses, (as, f.ex., a Couple of French Tourists from Strasbourg, who use to Visit Greece Every Year, etc), told "EuroFora" that the Local People, living at the most Exposed Greek Islands, (f.ex. Kos, etc), were saying that they had, already, seen Many such unusual Foreigners arrive, at First, in Small Groups, or even almost Indivually, a Long Time Ago, staying at Hotels or at "Bed and Breakfast" services Hosted among the Local Population's Homes, etc, and, apparently, having "a Lot of Money" with them, in order to "Wait", as if they Knew that "Something" was going to Happen, soon... (I.e. that Unprecedented "Tsunami" from Turkey, and the current Greek Government's decision to provide Free Massive Transports from the Islands to the Northern Greece's Borders with Western Balkan Countries : Comp., f.ex. : ...).

    - "And, then, during the Night of 4 to 5 September, Thousands of Refugees were Stranded (after having been mainly Transported Rapidly from the Greek Islands to the North of Serbia), in Budapest !", she reminded. (Hungary having been Obviously taken as a Key "Target" of that unprecedented "Tsunami" triggered from Turkey, as several Greek and American Media clearly showed in very Locacious MAPs outlining the whole Move's Direction, with Germany and other Big EU Countries profiling at the Horizon, just behind that)...

    - Now, "they were (Massively) Walking along the Road on the Highway, Heading towards Austria".

    - "Then, Germany and Austria have taken a Decision to Let those People into the Country", Because their current Leaders felt that "European Values faced a Test, as Never Before", since "this was, no more and no less than a Humanitarian Imperative", Angie Merkel Justified, painting it as a rather Spontaneous, Emotional move.

    => - In Consequence, "that Night it became Crystal-Clear that, as all the Previous and Following Months showed : - "The World and Europe have to deal with The Biggest Refugee Movement since the 2nd World War", she observed.

    + Moreover, as she Explained afterwards, Germany felt to have a Particular Moral Duty, given its own History, and this was also linked with Modern (i.e. Post WW2) Europe's Values :

    + Interestingly, the German Chancellor made it Clear that this Unprecedented Move did Not just came out of the Blue, as a Completely Isolated Phenomenon, but, on the Contrary, as One Among Many Exceptionaly Adverse Incidents which Targetted Europe during this Year :  

    - Indeed, "2015 was a Year of many Dramatic Events", both "for Germany, for the Franco-German Friendship, and for Europe" as a whole :  - "It was Rarely so true",  Angie Merkel Stressed from the Outset :

    -  "2015 is an Incredible Year, and ultimately Difficult to grasp". "Certainly, even the Past few Years were Very Busy, But such a Density, such a Sequence of Events, where Each one ... had ... a very Heavy Weight, I have Never Seen Before !", she Denounced, right from the Beginning of her Speech,

:!citting an Impressive Series of various Exceptional Incidents, from Deadly Extreme Islamic Terrorism, Risks to Destabilize EU's Neighborhood, up to abrupt Economic and/or Mass Migration Movements, etc., Threatening to Seriously Affect Europe's Safety and Economic or Socio-Cultural Cohesion and Stability in an Unprecedented Way, most comming from Abroad.

    Almost All these Unprecedented Incidents obviously Opposed Chancellor Angie Merkel's declared Wll to "Move Ahead" for "a Common Homeland" in "a Strong Europe", as she vowed to do by dedicating "All (her) Strength", and with real Emotion, at the Conclusion of a much wider and Landmark Speech.

+ Last, but not least, Many Questions remain still Open :

- F.ex., if, indeed, (as Chancellor Merkel hershelf observed), not even during the 1st and 2nd World Wars, (which had both Started right inside Europe), had Never occured Before, such a Huge Mass Asylum Seekers/Irregular Immigrants' "Tsunami", as that which was Launched through Turkey in the 2nd Half of 2015, ...then, it obviously remains a Mystery how some comparatively Smaller Wars, located Far Away  from Europe, might have provoked, Today, such a much Bigger Effect....

+ Moreover, it's also obviously Impossible, in fact, to explain all that Particular, Huge Incident, just  by the General, so-called "Globalisation" phenomenon :
- Why Not, then, through Italy, (which faces all Africa and the Middle East) , but only via Turkey ?

- Why Not, then, Before or Afterwards, but, almost only when Russia started Fighting against ISIL's a.o. Extreme Islamist Terrorists (9/2015) ?

- Why Not then in the UK, or  ...China, and/or Australia, and/or the USA itself ? Are, really, the UK, Russia, China, Australia, Canada, and/or USA, even taken All Together, may be, ...Less engaged in "Globalisation" than ...Hungary and Germany alone ?

(It's true that Russia, which has a Population of more than 150 Millions People, got 1 Million Refugees from Ukraine. But these are People with the Same Religion : Christians, they speak the Same Language : Russian, they are Europeans and Direct Neighbours, they even Feel to be "Russians" themselves from Ancient Times, or at least very Friendly to them, Historically and Culturaly assimilated, etc. I.e., Obviously, Absolutely Nothing similar to what Turkey Massively sends now to Tresspass into the EU, while Christian Syrians/Iraqis fleeing the ISIL are, reportedly, Obliged to head Not towards Europe, but to ... Poor Armenia, because the Turkish Camps are reportedly controlled by Chieftains "with a consistent Islamic Agenda", A Few who Dared go to Germany, are often Harashed, sometimes Brutaly, by Islamic "Majorities" inside Camps mostly controlled by ...Turkish Private Guards, according to mainstream German Media, as, f.ex., "Die Welt", etc)...

- And Who Profits, immediately, from all that ? (Except from a few Greek Civil Servants who Failed to really Check Tresspassers, letting go even 4 ISIL's Terrorists with Fake Passports), Apparently, Turkey : Starting with the Turkish Smugglers, (who get many Millions, even Billions from an often Deadly Humman Trafficking, as even "Human Rights Watch" reports), and Continuing by the controversial Turkish Government in Ankara, who has just asked the EU to give her .. 3 Billions € more, each Year, Re-Launch a Controversial and UnPopular Turkish EU bid, Extended even to a Total "Visa Free" Entry  for more than 75 Millions of Turks, free to enter the EU already by Mid-2016 !...

=> Which might then be the Real Challenge to Chancellor Angie Merkel's Will to "Move Ahead" for "a Common Homeland" in "a Strong Europe", to which she vowed to dedicate "All (her) Strength", and with real Emotion, at the Conclusion of her Landmark Speech, as we all would dream to see realized ?
