UN Secretary General Ban Ki Moon on Syria: Killing must Stop. Investigation must start

*Geneva/Palais des Nations/Angelo Marcopolo/-  " In Syria ... the Killing continues. This must Stop !. ..We cannot go on like this !", strongly declared UNO's Secretary General, Ban Ki Moon, speaking to Journalists in Geneva, including "EuroFora".     - "It is time to see progress there", stressed Ban Ki Moon, launching a clear "Call on the Syrian leadership to deliver on its commitments, and allow" not only "the United Nations' Humanitarian Assessment team", but also "a Human Rights Fact-Finding Mission mandated by the Human Rights Council".

    The move topically came as UNO's Human Rights Council (a New Global body, created by the Historic 2005 UNO Heads of State/Government Summit for its 60th Anniversary Reform in New York Headquarfters : See "EuroFora" co-Founder's NewsReports from the spot, published in TCWeekly+),  starts its Summer 2011 long Session in Geneva from Next Week.

      - "It's awful what is going on right now in Syria. If there isn't any International Action, this won't stop !", spontaneously denounced a sympathetic-looking Syrian-origin Taxi Driver born in Alep, who brought "EuroFora" at the Press Accreditation entrance of UNO's Palais des Nations in Geneva.

    On the contrary, while kindly replying on other issues, UNO's Head avoided to give any reply concerning Syria to a strange, and rather provocative, "hegemonic" like, question by a Turkish Journalist, who was only interested on the "Expectations" or "Role" that he might "attribute to Turkey" "in Syria, Libya and (evenà in Bahrain"...

    Meanwhile, PanEuropean CoE's Assembly anounced from nearby Strasbourg that a Delegation of MEPs is due to visit, from July 26, and examine, for the 1st time, the situation inside Syrian Refugees' Camps, which have been set up recently at one point of the Turkish Borders, in controversial conditions.

UNHCR Officials, speaking to "EuroFora" earlier in Strasbourg, made it clear that Refugees, as a matter of general principle, should Never be closed and guarded by armed men inside Camps surrounded by barbed wire hindering their Freedom of movement, contrary to what is scandalously taking place in some strange "Camps" set up by the Turkish Army, where Syrian Refugees are closed behind Barriers controled by the Military, in obvious conditions of Promiscuity of many People overcrowded worse than Animals inside a Tiny space and hindered to freely come and go, even Children been kept behind Barbed Wire, and surrounded by Turkish Soldiers.

=> Thus, several Syrian Refugees/Displaced persons were reportedly Hesitating to enter into Turkey's controversial Camps, while others have already started to leave them, obliged to return back to Syria, apparently prefering to face Risks of Attacks than to live in obviously unbearable eveyday conditions hermerically closed in suffocating promiscuity inside heavily guarded Turkish Camps.
