*Strasbourg/CoE/Angelo Marcopolo/- Invited anew by MEPs to the CoE, at a Side Event organized during the PanEuropean Organisation's Parliamentary Assembly's plenary session of Spring 2018, as also Back at Kobane City"s Siege by ISIS Deadly Islamist Terrorists on 2014 (See: http://www.eurofora.net/newsflashes/news/syriankurdsheadtoeuroforaatthecoe.html), the Syrian Kurdish Political Leader, former co-Head of the "Democratic Union Party" (PYD  :  which notoriously helped the International Coalition to succesfully Fight against ISIS ' atrocious BeHeaders and Coward Killers Targetting innocent Civilian People), Saleh Mohamed Maslem, replying to an "Eurofora" Question, Warned that what the Turkish Army just did at the Syrian Kurdish Canton of Afrin, is "very Dangerous" for the Spread of Deadly Islamist Terrorism  :

What happened to Afrin Canton was "a kind of Relief for ISIS" Deadly Terrorists, cowardly Targetting Civilian People, inter alia also because several Kurdish Fighters who were struggling against ISIS near Iraq borders, had to leave towards Afrin to face the Turkish Military Invasion/Occupation, and Terrorists already started to exploit that.

Meanwhile, in Addition, "we don't know what Turkey is Planning there".

- "Is it trying to make a Capital of Terrorism at Afrin ?", he wondered.

-"Why are all those Armed Radical Groups going there  ?", he wondered. Will they establish Radicalized Schools, and/or "Training centers"   ?

+ And Afrin is just Neighbouring Idlib, where all Radicals and Terrorists have been concentrated, from all sides of Syria, both from ISIS, Al-Queda and their likes...Many are even Foreigners, (as, f.ex., Hundreds of Afghans, etc).

While, at the same time, there are about 130.000 Displaced People from Afrin already at a Camp, and around 200.000 Refugees in Total, who had to Abandon their Homes, Fields and Livelihood, needing now to Return under UN Safeguards.

We shouldn't also forget that, in the recent Past, f.ex, "the Turkish Consulate at Mosul, served in fact as ISiS' HeadQuarters for Years  !", he Denounced.

=> So, "Yes, possibly, Everything shows" that, after what happened at Afrin, the Spread of Terrorism is very Dangerous" now, he concluded by a stern Warning.

 - When he spoke, 3 Bloody Massacres Targetting Civilian People had just been committed anew in France, Germany and Russia, while a 4rth one was just added some Hours Later, on Canada, (After a Period of relative Calm, Before the Turkish Military Invasion/Occupation of the Syrian Kurdish canton of Afrin)...

UK Prime Minister, Gordon Brownn's promise to French President Sarkozy that Great Britain will proceed to Lisbon Treaty's ratification was certainly fuelled further by MEPs' warning, meanwhile in Strasbourg, that all Enlargement stops until EU can have efficient Institutions for more than 27 member Countries.

EU Parliament's President, German MEP Hans Gert Poettering, formally announced this position, after consulting all Political Groups' Chairmen, Monday in Strasbourg, and most MEPs made the point crystal clear during Plenary Debates on Wednesday.

Thus, from Thursday, UK's House of Commons, at Westminster, gave its "Green Light" to Lisbon Treaty's ratification, which was completed later-on, after ovecoming some last minute attempts to block the process.

    - In only 3 other Member Countries we feel some "hesitations" : Poland, Czech Republic and Cyprus", said, meanwhile, EU Chairman-in-office, Slovenian Foreign Minister, Dr. Dimitri Ruppel, speaking to EU Parliament's Foreign Affairs Committee in Strasbourg, However, "I didn't hear any explicit refusal", he carefully added.

Rupel's fears were later bellied in Cyprus' case, where a wide majority of political parties confirmed their support to the EU Treaty, but fears were confirmed in Poland's case, while Czechs said they waited for their Constitutional Court to pronounce itself.

A paradox is that the Polish President Lech Kaczynski, who reportedly expressed concerns about Lisbon Treaty, had personally signed himself its blueprint, while, on the contrary, Cyprus' new President, Christofias, despite its own party's opposal, declared that he'll respect the signature of his precedessor, former President Tassos Papadopoulos, in favor of EU Treaty.

But, "all that noise is a misinterpretations by some Western Media : Poland will ratify the EU Treaty, and even earlier than some other Member Countries", declared to "EuroFora", in a surprisingly optimistic tone, the Polish Chairman of EU Parliament's Foreign Affairs Committee, Jacek Saryuswolski...

2009 EU Elections were won by Parties against Technocracy and Turkey's controversial EU bid, while the 1999-2004 Majority Abstention trend decelerated. What should be done in 2009-2014 ?
