G7 Summit adds Strauss Music before challenging Foreign Policy session...

"EuroFore" learned, via well-informed German sources here, that the symbolicaly chosen "Dedication" song, (the famous "ZuEignung", i.e. Same Title with Goethe's introduction to "Faust", an Emotive Poem inter alia mourning "a Lost Companion" - by a Coincidence while Russian President Vladimir Putin was still exceptionaly Absent for a 2nd time), which includes points on "Holding High" the Values of "Freedom" and "Exorcising the Evils", but suffering from Separation, etc., was sung by Soprano Waltraud Meier, accompagnied by a Pianist, who were interposed, between 19.30 - 20.15, before that most delicate Working Diner session on all Foreign Policy Topical Issues of Global Importance, from Ukraine to ISIL, etc., finaly pushed for later-on, between 20.30 and 22.30, (but, in fact, even further), which was marked by ToNight's Top Mountain Lightings, which made OutDoor promenades hazardous...

Inevitably, Experienced Diplomatic and Media circles topicaly reminded, on this occasion, that, already, famous long-time former UN Secretary General Koffi Annan had been led to also add, at the last Minute, a special ...Music intermezzo, right in the middle of extremely delicate Top Political Talks on the thorny Cyprus issue, at an Exceptionaly important, Historic Context, just before that EU's Enlargement which ReUnified Europe and  completed its Strategic Mediterranean Borderlines, back on 2004, at nearby Switzerland's "Burgenstock" Mountainous Giant Peninsula, between Lucern's superbe Lakes' complex and "Pilatus" Mountain's peak piercing the Clouds, (Comp. "EuroFora" co-Founder's NewsReports from Burgenstock, then) : By another among many such Coincidences, even that time, the NY Headquartered International Organisation had  chosen a ... German Piano Player,  a very Kind and cultivated Old White Haired Man,  who had Warned "EuroFora" that he couldn't stay there more than just a few Days in order to try to help create a better atmosphere among Politicians under pressure..

However, Today had started amidst a very Warm Sunny Sunday, with another addition of a Popular meeting of US President Obama and German Chancelor Merkel at a nearby pittoresque village, before a surprisingly early EU Press Conference, by new EU Council President Tusk and Commission President Juncker, even Before the G7 Summit had started, suddenly reminded the Fact that, even in one of the most Beautiful Natural and Healthy areas of Bavaria, business are business...

Fine-tuned with Experienced art by the German Presidency of the 2015 G7 Summit led by Chancelor Angie Merkel, who had already organised, in the Past, the 2007 G8 Global Summit at the Other side of EU's most prosperous Country, in Pomerania's beautiful Heiligendam Seaside, (Comp. "EuroFora" co-Founder's NewsReports from Heiligendam's G8 Summit, published then at "TCW", etc), almost all the Other, earlier Working Sessions, mainly about Economy Issues, such as sustainable Growth and Trade, (a very Topical matter, given also EU Parliament's "Hot" Debates and 1st Plenary Vote scheduled for Next Week in Strasbourg on how to deal with the current Draft TranAtlantic Trade and Investment Agreement, that Merkel notoriously wishes to see concluded before the End of this Year, while also EU - Canada and EU - Japan equivalent Trade Talks are also underway), went apparently, rather Smoothly, until now.

And Merkel looked Happy that she succeeded, while cultivating Kind personal contacts with new Prime Minister of Greece, Tsipras, to, however, avoid from Schloss Elmau's 2015 G7 Summit to eventualy become "Hostage" of the Debt Crisis' controversy, unlike to what former PASOK leader and then Prime Minister Giorgos Papandreou had suddenly provoked back on 2011 in Cannes, "hijacking" the G20 Summit, (Coimp. "EuroFora"s relevant NewsReports from Cannes). Indeed, Chancelor Merkel gave now Rendez-Vous for the Debt issue next week in Brussels...

Tomorrow, on Monday, another obvious Highlighting Event is expected to be the Meeting between the G7 Heads of Government/State and Leaders of many International Organisations with the "OutReach" Summit of numerous Developing Third Countries, mainly focused on Africa, where an Important New Component on Fighting against Diseases, and ensuring Health Safety, is long overdue, particularly after recent Virus Epidemics and the Ebola Crisis, etc. Another last-minute Change for the Morning has added, however, also an intringuing Lecture of a Top Expert on "Nano-Technologies", (etc).

But well informed UN sources told "EuroFora" that, exceptionaly, the Secretary General of the International Organisation, Ban Ki Moon, (who had to Limit at a minimum the Time of his presence here, given also an obligation to participate an another event elsewhere in Germany, beforehand), is due to be obliged to Drop his usual Press Conference at the Conclusion of this G7 Summit. UNO's Leader, had recently launched a vibrant call in Brussels for the entire International Community to unite, all Together, in order to Urgently Fight against the Extremist Islamic Terrorism of "ISIL"'s atrocious BeHeaders,  to Defend basic Human Values against Brutal Barbary, before it becomes too late, (See : ....).

Nevertheless, naturally, both in this and several other Russia-related matters, either delicate, as the Ukranian differend, or even potentialy positive, (as f.ex. on Iran, ISIL, Ebola, Climate Change, etc), the greatest, Historic Responsibility currently relying on the shoulders not only of the chairing Chancelor Merkel, but also, particularly, upon out-going USPresident Obama, and mainly French President Hollande as well as British Prime Minister Cameron, etc, obviously is, at this juncture, to try to do whatever they can in order to Prevent from the situation vis a vis Russia, and President Putin, (who is due to meet soon in Rome also with Pope Francis, before chairing a BRICS' Summit, later-on in early July), to eventually fall into a Dangerous, slipery slope which might push towards a situation alike to the strikingly similar to Schloss Elmau apparent look of ..."Budapest Hotel", another Mountainous Luxurious resort, described in the Homonumous  latest Tragi-Comedy Film of 2015, that the American Cinema estblishment has recently  supported by awarding its prestigious "Oscar" Prize...

    Hopefuly ,the very real and rock solid "Elmau Castle" mpust help find another, very Differend way ahead for Europe and the World, than that depicted in the "Budapest Hotel" Tragicomedy, which is full of a dangerous, ... War like background, (whose Dramatic Music, was logicaly composed by a French-Greek musician, whose Family were Refugees obliged to flee the Deadly "Pogrom" and Destruction by Fire notoriously launched by the Turkish Military, back on1922 at Smyrne, an over-Millenary Greek City of the Aegean Sea since Ancient Times, who also got a 2015 "Oscar" for the Music that he composed for that film)..

    In other words, it's obviously urgent, Today, to strive to Safeguard Peace in Europe, as well as to develop further peaceful and productive Cooperation throughout the whole World, and avoid, almost 6 Years after the Deauvile G8 Summit of May 2011 (Comp. "EuroFora"'s NewsRepports from the spot of that Deauville G8 gathering, f.ex. : .......), when former French President Sarkozy, in reply to Press Questions, hadn't excluded the preparation of a possible Enlargement also to China, i.e. to advance, in the Future, towards a ... "G 9", instead of Backtracking dangerously, down from G8 to G7, etc....
