*Strasbourg/EU Parliament/Angelo Marcopolo/- The experienced Secretary General of the Biggest European Political Party, that of ChrisianDemocrats/EPP, (Headed by Joseph Daul from Strasbourg, former EPP MEPs' Chairman), Top MEP Antonio Lopez-Isturiz White from Spain, speaking to "Eurofora" Today during EU Parliament's plenary session in Strasbourg, on the "Hot" and Topical controversy on Victor Orban, popular Prime Minister of Hungary's ideas and practice at EU's Political Landscape, including Tensions by a recent Misunderstanding vis a vis Some Other EPP Members, mainly around the Crucial Issue of Mass Migration from 3rd Non-European Countries, strongly expessed his Belief that, Despite some confusing appearances, in fact, the Unity of that Party will be maintained on 2019, but this will be Followed by a Discussion on 2020 :

- "Yes ! Yes !", Positively stressed EPP's Secretary General in Reply to "Eurofora"s relevant Question whether the EPP will Succeed to "Maintain its Unity" after a Forthcoming Meeting of its Political Committee, on March 20 in Brussels, where a Minority has asked for an Exclusion of Hungary's Governing "Fidesz" Party, while Victor Orban, at the same time, reportedly also examines a possibility to eventually form, (if obliged), together with several other EPP and/or not EPP Top Politicians, a New Political Grouping, on the occasion of the forthcoming EU Parliament's Elections of May 2019.

- "But we (EPP) must have a Serious Discussion Next Year", i.e. on 2020, Isturez went on immediately to Add, in his Reply to the above-mentioned "Eurofora"s Question. He didn't yet advance so far as to clarify whether such a move would, eventually, be limited only to the "Fidesz" issue, per se, or Extend Also into a Wider Debate on EPP's Strategic Orientation in the foreseable Future, (as it seems Logical, and supported by Orban and others).

At the Focus of the Disagreement appears mainly the Mass Asylum Seekers/Irregular Migrants' controversy, with Victor Orban denouncing alleged attempts by some inside EU Commission and/or Parliament to curently Hide Draft Texts aiming to Ease Mass Migration (by "Visas", etc), Loss of Borders' Control by National Governments, and Oblige recalcitrant EU Member Countries to accept "Quotas" of Non-European Mass Migrants or face Sanctions in the Future, which risk to Surface only After the 2019 EU Election. EU Commission's Spokesman in Brussels, Margarites Schinas, has reportedly Rejected such Criticism as "Fake News", but the competent EU Commissioner Avramopoulos has not yet been cited in this regard. Orban sticks also to the "Christian" Historic Culture of Europe, and this might, indeed, indispose, eventually, some Islamistic and/or some LBGTI Lobbies, etc., but they have not yet very loudly revealed their probable opposition.

Some eventual Misunderstandings, often pushed by exagerated or inaccurate Press Reports, (as f.ex. that which recently attempted to provoke a Personal Conflict between EU Commission's President Juncker and UK's Prime Minister Theresa May, back on December 2018, but was rapidly Dissipated by Juncker when he explained to May what was the Truth, as he revealed during the Final Press Conference of Brussels' EU Summit then), made also the Hungarian Government to think that Juncker would have Backed such a Motion for Exit from the EPP, to the point to incite Budapest to Start a Campaighn of Posters showing Juncker as if he was Manipulated by Controversial Millionaire Soros, and this inevitably Fuelled Contradictions, Despite the  otherwise "Friendly" character of Juncker as Orban described him at an Interview with "Die Welt" Newspaper. However, following relevant Demands by EPP's Leading Candidate to EU Elections, Manfred Weber, Victor Orban announced that those Posters would Stop from March 15, due to be replaced by New ones, picturing, instead, the "Socialist" Candidate, EU Commission's vice-President Timermans, and Excused himself for any eventual harm that such Criticism might, perhaps, have inflicted to any members of the ChristianDemocrat/EPP Family.

Meanwhile, Victor Orban's "Fidesz" Party has repeatedly Won 3 Elections in a row, once with More than 40% and Twice with More than 50% of the Votes, becoming the Most Popular ChristianDemorat/EPP Party accross the 38 EU Member Countries. Inside the EPP, 10 Small/Medium Parties out of a Total of 80, (among which is Not included Not even One Head of State/Government), have reportedly asked to Oust Hungary. They represent 58 Votes in EPP's Political Committee, which is competent to decide, and has 262 Voting Members. On the Contrary, the French and Italian ChristianDemocrat/EPP Parties (of Alain Wauquiez and Silvio Berlusconi), reportedly Oppose such a Motion, as well as the Austrian, "Visegrad" Countries' (including Poland) EPP Parties, while it's not backed, no more, by the German CDU/CSU, and the Spanish apparently have not yet pronounced themselves explicitly.

Since the recent 2015/2016+ Mass Asylum Seekers/Irregular Migrants UnPrecedented Huge "Tsunami" mainly through Turkey, Followed also by an equally UnPrecedented Multiplication of Deadly Islamist Terrorist Attacks cowardly Targetting innocent Civilian People throughout Europe, even until Nowadays (including, f.ex., the December 2018 Massacre in Strasbourg, the March 2019 Killings in Utrecht, etc), Added also to Various other kinds of Aggressions, Rapes, Harassment, etc, have Notoriously brought that Specific Mass Migration Problem at the forefront of EU Citizens' fears and concerns this time.

But Victor Orban's Hungarian Constitutional reform (as well as in Several Other EU Countries a.o. recently) in favour also of Europe's Christian roots, Natural Family, Human Embryos, etc, Add another, "BioEthical" Factor, in the equation, particularly Needed Recently, as a trend towards Artificial Births under any Pretexts, easily Controlled by Technocrats etc, at the Same Time that Heritable "Gene Editing" Technologies affect even Future Generations' GermLine, with Serious Risks not only on Health but also against Humanity.

Isturiz's brief but substantial Meeting came, by a Timely Coincidence, just after rapidly crossing EPP's Spitzen-Kandidat in 2019 Election, Manfred Weber, following Today's EU Parliament Votes, who Kindly Saluted "Eurofora" with a Smile, recently Back from his Last Tuesday's visit to Budapest, where he reportedly Discussed with Orban (who confirmed that he still Backs Weber for New EU Commission President) the possibilities of a possible working Compromise inside the EPP Family,  even if some points still seem to require further care.

Strategically located between Paris and Prague, Strasbourg offered a natural location for the French and Czech EU 2008 and 2009 Presidencies to tune their agendas for a resolute European move towards Renewable Energies, during an exceptional Joint Parliamentary meeting on "Energy and Sustainable Development", co-organized here by the Presidents of EU Parliament, Hans Gert Poettering, French National Assembly, Bernard Accoyer, and Senate, Gerard Larcher, on November 20 and 21.

Concluded by a busy-looking French super-Minister of Energy, Environment and Regional planning, Jean-Louis Borloo, the exceptional gathering of Top MPs from all 27 EU States' Parliaments hoped that a Ministerial meeting prepared by Borloo, will pave the way to an overall agreement at the level of EU Heads of State and Government Summit chaired on December 2008 by French President Nicolas Sarkozy, allowing the next EU chair, the Czech Republic, to start working from the beginning of 2009 on concrete measures.

Speaking to "EuroFora" President Accoyer resumed the general feeling by stressing that "Europe has no Oil-Gas resources, but an important Scientific-Technologic potential. Therefore, we must develop Renewable Energy sources". "Since the Sun is the most abundant and free RES,  we must do the outmost to boost Solar Energy" solutions, he added, at the eve of a special meeting on Solar energy and the Mediterranean organised by Borloo on Saturday.

Oil-gas supplies' security and diversification were also examined by the EU gathering, after which, President Accoyer replied  to our question on risks of long, expensive and fragile pipe-lines' projects, crossing through foreign countries out of the EU, compared to new possibilities for Sea and River Ship direct EU transport even of Gas, thanks to New Liquification technologies : - "We have just écreated the Union for the Mediterranean for concrete projects like these", Accoyer stressed, speaking of Sea-River Ship Highways, fundeable under EU's TENS programs.

Rapporteur on "Energy innovation and sustainable development", Dr. Bedrich Moldan, vice-President of Czech Senate's Environment and Regional Development Committee, added that Climat issues, price uncertainties and diminution of accessible Fossil energies, played together with EU's RST potential in order to make RES both a need and "an opportunity". However, in cases as "Solar Energy, even if the main Scientific ideas are already here, we have to make some technologic breakthroughs in order to find how to produce it on a large scale, store and transport it", Dr. Moldan added to "EuroFora".

Czech interest for RES was also expressed, earlier in Strasbourg, by Jan Kohout, the deputy Minister pf Foreign Affairs who participated to a workshop on "Renewable Energies" organized by the French EU 2008 Presidency : - "The focus is on Development", he told us.

On this and other RES issues, Dr. Moldan anounced the Czech EU 2009 chair's intention to organize an important 2-days Conference on Renewable Energies and Sustainable Development late January 2009 at nearby Prague.

Polls

2009 EU Elections were won by Parties against Technocracy and Turkey's controversial EU bid, while the 1999-2004 Majority Abstention trend decelerated. What should be done in 2009-2014 ?
