Real Multi-Lingual News must "Walk with the People", says Vatican's Spokesman Lombardi...


Experienced Vatican's Press Director, father Federico Lombardi, speaking in a Rome Conference  on "Re-Thinking Communications", during which he was awarded a Doctorate Honoris Causa by the Faculty of Social Communications at the Pontifical Salesian University, reportedly stressed the importance that "Multi-Lingual" News have in practice, particularly for a "Universal" message, as that of the Christian Church :

- In fact, "if you Love the People, you must Walk with the People", he characteristically said, pointing, in particular, at the key-word of "InCulturation" : It's mainly about entering in "a Dialogue among Cultures", knowing how to speak the Language also of other Cultures, and really translate a message in their Context,  so that everyone feels at Home, and nobody feels a Stranger, vis a vis the Christian Church's messages.
