Apple, together with Ipad and soon, probably Google, have just been sued for grossly violating Private Data Protection laws, adding to growing concerns about Personal Data spying on Facebook, Twitter, etc., including when transmitted by Iphones and other SmartPhones.

I.e. to the obvious stupidity of all those petty Gadgets, largely exploited by some superficial manipulators to misguide and trap People who ignore the WWWeb, (prohibiting real, full Dialogue, by limiting texts to a few dispersed, small, tiny bits, contrary to Forums, which provide Large Pages with attached Documents : Photos, Videos, Graphics, as long Texts as you wish, etc, all well-organized, classified by Items, Dates, and/or Authors, etc", and keep the Memory of Debates' History always ready to be re-visited and continued, in a real Democratic, Intellectual discourse),  was now added their Dangerosity to the detriment of Citizens' private, personal, religious, professional and socio-political  life !

Quote
"Concerns about user Privacy have emerged with the rapid growth of smartPhones that spawn apps, and social networking websites such as Twitter and Facebook":

- "Last month, "Facebook" said some of its applications violated the social networking company's policies against sharing user information and had promised to fix the problem"

-"Earlier this year, microblogging service "Twitter" agreed to settle with the U.S. Federal Trade Commission over charges that it put its customers' privacy at risk by failing to safeguard their personal information". ...

+ Now : "Two separate groups of iPhone and iPad users have sued Apple Inc alleging that certain software applications were passing personal user information to third-party advertisers without consent....

=>  Victims "suffered to see their Personal Computer transformed into a tool able to Spy all their on-line movements", reportedly denounced one of the Lawyers. ...

On the contrary, EuroFora undertakes to strictly protect all Private/Personal Data of its Readers, Participants to Forums, etc., (with the only exception of eventual Criminal Investigations ordered by a Judge, at a proportional and not excessive degree).

Except from the fact that it's based in the U.S.A., nobody knows who are Facebook's real Shareholders, since, reportedly, their names were never revealed in public !...

Controversial Global Banker "Goldman Sachs" recently got an important share in Facebook's curiously multi-million business, which doesn't have to respect the same rules of transparency as Stock Market companies.

Obvious conclusion : Not the best place to trust your private, personal data....

Yeah, the Majority of new stakeholders aren't even American !

1 out of 1,5 Billions $ for Facebook's shares taken by Goldman Sachs come from subscribers located outside of the U.S., it was anounced, without revealing who they are ...

Could it be, perhaps, Saudi Arabia or China, Israel or Indonesia, Russian oligarchs, Turkish infiltration agents, an Italian or other Mafia "Money-laundering" its proceeds from crimes, Colombian Drug Traffickers disguised into anonymous brokers, Somali Pirates, some  unscrupulus Speculators, various Foreign Countries' Secret Services, setc., or even ETs ?

Nobody knows who is really hidden behind Facebook's website to which millions of unaware people entrust their Personal Data and the slightest move or meeting in their private or social Life...
