The Russian tycoon Alex Lebedev, who owns one of the best quality English language Newspapers : "The Independent" since 2010, (as well as the lucrative "Evening Standard", with his son Yevgeny), said that competitor "The Guardian" was slandering his Media because "they are afraid of the growing circulation ...and the possible transfer of The Independent to the free-of-charge format, which would be the death for them [The Guardian]”...
