The fact that Belgian Flamisch EU Commissioner for Trade, Karel De Gucht, is a vivid supporter of EU - USA Trade deal, shouldn't incite him to be too Harsch against EU - China Trade prospects, f.ex. by pushing for a ... 47% Tax on Chinese Solar panels, which has led Beijing to react at the WTO and threaten with reprisals f.ex. on Steel and other EU exports.

Instead of provoking selective Trade Wars, on the contrary, it would be much better for Europe to seize opportunities for Cheaper Solar Energy, together with more Cooperation and Innovation, in view of a more harmonious Global exports policy.
