The long-awaited debate on EU Financial Perspectives after 2014 is due to start soon, through EU Parliament probably also in Strasbourg, even if decisions are expected during 2011.

The main point is EU's own Future : Some lobbies have been notoriously pushing, in secret, for Turkey's controversial and impopular EU bid around 2013-2014+, already since the end of 1990ies !

Something which would provoque a huge upheaval (a kind of "Tsunami "!) not only against Human Rights and Fundamental Freedoms inside the EU, but also against EU Agricultural and Cohesion Funds, (necessary also for EU's own socio-political integration), as well as to the detriment of EU's available Budgetary means to fund also other policies, both External (f.ex. Development Aid to poor countries), and internal (f.ex. investment in Scientific and Technologic Innovation), etc.

Obviously, the "Social Dumping" committed by some 3rd States, as Turkey, etc., in addition to grossly violating Human Rights of People obliged to do low-level work at lower price, it also downgrades EU's level of production by inciting to stop investing in High-Tech, and start dealing with Low-level merchandises or even services (f.ex. Mass-Tourism, old cars' outsourcing, raw materials, etc.)
