June 2010 EU Summit's decision to open full Membership negotiations with Iceland will naturally strengthen EU's rights over huge Oli/Gas resources said to be at the Arctic Ocean.

Moreover it's an Historically and Culturally European Country, without any immigration or integration problem, Developed, Educated, well-behaving and Peacefull.

If the new UK Government Conservarive-Liberal coalition really wants EU Enlargment joined to Common Values able to forge a strong EU Political Will, (as new Prime Minister Cameron f.ex. just said at his Brussels' Press Conference on the occasion of more EU Sanctions vis a vis Iran's dangerous Nuclear Proliferation moves), then, this would obviously be better inspired to focus on European Countries such as Iceland, Croatia, Serbia, Montenegro, Moldavia, Ukraine, etc., (hopefully also Norway and Switzerland, etc), instead of former UK Socialist/Labour government's Turkish mania...
