Russian President Medvedev decided to start preparations for the creation of a new Spaceship, propulsed by Nuclear Energy, from Earth to March and other Planets.

Worldwide, research results are still lacking in view of the need to replace USA's Shuttle with something better, and to invent an efficient vehicle for Space Exploration, full of various big stakes.

The new, Nuclear powered SpaceShip should cost only some 400 million €, while the old, Low-tech, and limited capacities' controversial military trasnsport project A400M, already delayed many years, costs much more than .. 22 BILLIONS € !....

French President Sarkozy and German Chancellor Merkel have recently postponed for some months decisions on whether to drop, skip, reduce or replace the A400M "debacle", as a German language Swiss Newspaper has called it, (compared to a much cheaper and more spacious Antonov, or a new Antonov version to be constructed in cooperation with Airbus, and/or to USA's much longer-range big Globe-trotter, etc)

In brief : Europe could become World champion in High Tech with various innovative and ambitious projects, as fex. participating in the conception, planning, production and developpent of new a new, efficient Spaceship, orginal High-Tech Airplanes, etc

It already has much more money than it need, but it must be well invested, and not be wasted in old cuckoos..
