Ireland may organize its new Referendum on September 2009.
Thus, a probable postponement/prolongement for the appointment/election procedure of new EU Commission's president (fex. Barroso, or someone else, until an adequate program is presented, and/or Lisbon Treaty ratified), added to the possible postponment of the election of CoE's new Secretary General, (because of the conflict between its Committee of Ministers and its Parliamentary Assembly), could have a logical result :
=> Concentrate all appointments to European Top Jobs for October 2009 : Presidents of EU Commission and EU Council, EU Foreign Minister, CoE's Secretary General, etc.
I.e. when the New Political landscape, resulting from EU Elections, Irish Referendum, German Election, etc. will become crystal-clear, allowing to have an overview of the overall situation, according also to Citizens' democrartic votes.
It might not be a bad idea..
