From a purely Geo-Political point of view,  Egypt has to choose between a Renaissance of the proud Pharaon and Alexandria's Ancient Civilisations into a Modern State with Excellent Relations to Europe, or a retrogradation falling back into an obscurantist, underdeveloped and servile Colony under Turkish+ domination, as in a Dark Past....
