1  European POLICIES and ISSUES / Enlargement - Foreign Policy / La Turquie entrera dans l'UE en 2013, dit un politicien Socialiste apparenté.. on: May 19, 2009, 02:09:21 AM

2013 for Turkey's EU entry, says center-Left (Socialist) French politician Beylet..

2013 should be the date for Turkey's controversial EU entry, said French center-Left politician, Mr. Beylet (sorry : Baylet), a "Radical of the Left" ("Radicaux de Gauche"), i.e. traditional ally to the French "Socialist party".

While the Socialist politicians still seem to hesitate speaking clearly about Turkey, on the contrary, their ally, Mr. Beylet (in fact : Baylet), formally stressed now that his group "had anounced from 2004 that it's in favor of Turkey's accession to the EU in a deadline of 10 Years" !

This brings it all up to the next EU Parliament's mandate periode : 2009 - 2014, contrary to some Socialist politicians' claims that Turkey would not be an issue for 2009 EU Elections...

Beylet's statements prove that, in fact, it's NOW OR NEVER the Time for EU Citizens to vote for, or against, Turkey's EU bid controversy..

3  European CITIZENS and FORUM / European CITIZENSHIP / ECJ : No Visa to Asia's millions for jobs on Services in times of Crisis ? on: February 28, 2009, 03:54:39 PM

If what the Turkish Government claims is true, then, someone in the CJEC did a very bad job against EU Citizenship :

- If any jobless, low-wage worker or ambitious, thirsty businessman from an Asiatic population of more than 70 millions can came inside the EU even "without Visa" to take immediately any job on "Services" from jobless EU Citizens, then, what does it mean to be an EU Citizen ?

Just to vote for EU elections ? But, then, anyone who can get a few dollars to keep f.ex. a kebab shop with his relatives for only 4 or 5 years could easily get a full "citizenship" on paper, even if he doesn't speak the language of the host country, doesn't give a damn or even doesn't know anything about Europe's culture, values and history..

How can you motivate European People to fight to invent and build the "European dream" with that ?

And it seems that someone got that idea among those judges, all out of a sudden, in 2009 by "interpreting" a 30 years old paper, dated from the 1970ies !

Bad message against European integration, particularly at this moment of Economic Crisis...
