1  European POLICIES and ISSUES / Politics / come back ? on: October 30, 2014, 07:27:52 PM
it seems that we'll have to hear much about Turkey, anew this time, from tolerating ISIS' heheadings, fresh killings of Kurdish people, persistent oppression against freedom of speech, (etc), up to accusations of journalists and even priests to be "spies", warships invading EU member Cyprus' exclusive economic zone searching to snatch gas, harsh accusations against Egypt, Israel, the UK (and even against .. "Laurence of Arabia", the liberator of Arab people from the invasion/occupation of Ottoman/Turc army, which had destroyed the once brillant Arab civilisation), more claims to get EU money and enter inside the EU, attempts to manipulate and exploit even the new Pope, folllow-up in attempts to interfere at European countries' internal affairs, and so on...
2  European AGENDA / of European CITIES / more rude now ? on: October 30, 2014, 07:27:17 PM
check out what might happen now, with the transition from Barroso to Juncker, on November 2014 !

May be it should be transfered to Luxembourg ?

(at any case, better keep some water with you, it might help to cope if it runs amoc. you never now what might really happen)..
3  Announcements / http://EUROFORA.NET interactive European News project / remodelled ? on: October 30, 2014, 07:25:56 PM
Better check out the leading ideas behind that move. They need to be clarified before been offered to the public as such. Attempts to remodel Journalism and Media in general, are interesting, but might also be dangerous, or, at least, not well elaborated, unless you make sure that it's basicaly OK.

Until then, prudence !
4  Announcements / Multi-Lingual / still under consideration ? on: October 30, 2014, 07:25:29 PM
Many things happened since then. There have been also statements by EU Commissioner Vassiliou, and others, as well as several Start-up private Companies which seem to have start making some interesting (even if still insufficient) moves, etc.

> From now on, it's mainly up to EU Commissioner Oettinger, competent on Digital economy, in cooperation with some other among his collegues. Given also, at least, German chancellor Merkel's impressing entry already since October 2013 (just after brillantly winning the September 2013 National Elections) on Internet and EU's vital need to develop its Autonomy in that key Global field, particularly at the "after Snowden" era, apparently, there is a European political will.

But TIME is running fast...
5  European AGENDA / of European COUNTRIES / Kohl's burning coal ?... on: October 30, 2014, 07:24:33 PM
check out the on-coming new book by former chancelor Helmut Kohl, in this regard : Judging by what he had already started to denounce as early as from 2011, now, at this crucial juncture for EU's Economy, with a new EU Commission entering at the playground for the next 5 years, etc., some more such revelations and/or appreciations might burn more than hot coal !...
6  European AGENDA / of European ORGANISATIONS / additional on: October 30, 2014, 07:22:10 PM
Burkhalter's envoy for Ukraine, Ambassador Heidi Taglavini, has apparently started recently to contribute a quite good job, more and more substantial (f.ex. on making the contact group work, reach ceasefire since late August, and even part of a political agreement, finalised on September, etc), despite obvious obstacles to overcome.

But, as things evolve, particularly since the recent national elections for Kiev's authorities, a few days ago (October 26), the cease-fire and even the political agreements reached previously, will very probably need a fresh political impulse to add some more impetus now, (eve of the December 2014 OSCE Annual Summit).
7  Announcements / http://EUROFORA.NET interactive European News project / updating on: October 30, 2014, 07:17:51 PM
well known neo-traditional Russian Media RIA-NOVOSTI apparently intends to operate an important "new look" updating of its overall format and structure, particularly on line and among the European/International Media, by joining a "classic" symbol to a super-modern format.

Interesting to examine and test in real practice.
