46  European POLICIES and ISSUES / Politics / Re: EU Parliament s groups : UK conservative Cameron manipulated by Turkish lobby ? on: June 02, 2009, 11:28:00 PM
The plan to divide EU Parliament's largest group (EPP/Christiandemocrats) by secession of a few MEPs to create a small group, mainly by British Conservatives and some others, is manipulated by a pro-Turkish lobby.

This is revealed also by the role of MEP Van Orden, a notoriously Turkish lobby member, who reportedly pushed Cameron, the young and energetic National leader of Brittish Conservatives, but inexperienced in EU affairs.

Poor old Cameron :

He only wanted to be critical vis a vis  EU Bureacrats, Brussels' Commissioners, etc..

But, in fact, manipulated by Van Orden and the likes, he only... plays at the hands of EU Commission's brussels Bureaucrats, who are notoriously pushing for impopular Turkey to enter the EU !

Cameron should stay inside the largest group of EU Parliament, EPP, and act to change its positions from the inside, by struggling on certain crystal clear points, (fex. against EU Brussels' Commission's Bureaucrats, etc)

Otherwise, he will only be exploited by Socialists and Turkey...

48  European CITIZENS and FORUM / Technical questions / More space for EU Elections ! on: May 28, 2009, 11:33:36 PM
I don't know if it's a "technical" or other matter, but we'd certainly appreciate if the Forum gave more useful space for June EU elections.

Genetic Mixture Animal-Human provokes Pandemic Virus spreading from Mexico to the US and Worldwide !

Quote
... "Scientists have warned for years about the potential for a pandemic from viruses that mix genetic material from humans and animals."

"Mexicans ....may be ground zero for a global epidemic of a new kind of flu — a strange mix of human, pig and bird viruses that has epidemiologists deeply concerned."

"Scientists have long been concerned that a new killer flu could evolve when different viruses infect a pig, a person or a bird, mingling their genetic material."

"The resulting hybrid could spread quickly because people would have no natural."

" it is unclear how much protection current human flu vaccines might offer.

"A "seed stock" genetically matched to the new swine flu virus has been created by the CDC, said Dr. Richard Besser, the agency's acting director....The CDC says two flu drugs, Tamiflu and Relenza, seem effective against the new strain"

"Roche, the maker of Tamiflu, said the company is prepared to immediately deploy a stockpile of the drug if requested. ..Mexico has enough Tamiflu to treat 1 million people — only one in 20 people in greater Mexico City alone..."
