Title: Brussels-Strasbourg via Luxembourg: 2 TGV links Daily from 2016
Post by: ACM on July 13, 2014, 09:02:57 PM
A recent meeting on the French Eastern High Speed Train network's various stakeholders in Strasbourg, reportedly decided to set up at least + "2 TGV A/R" round-trips each Day between Brussels and Strasbourg, via Luxembourg, (after the full completion of its Paris' link, due to make Faster Rail links with Strasbourg : less than 2 Hours), from 2016.

"EuroFora" strongly believes that this should be extended both to More Frequent Daily Links between Strasbourg - Luxembourg - Brussels, from the Western side, and towards Geneva, at the Eastern side, in order to succeed to link closely together, in an efficient way in real practice, the famous central "Blue Line" which links EU - CoE - UNO(G), at Europe's core.

The expected and hopefully forthcoming parallel move towards the Rhone-Rhine High Speed Train link, between Lyon - Mulhouse - Strasbourg, could be of great help fpr the 2nd point, (in addition to possible moves als through Bale/Mulhouse+, etc).
