Title: Carbon Tax supported by French Constitutional Court Post by: CatherineB on December 30, 2009, 03:47:44 PM The French Constitutional Court gave a strong boost to President Sarkozy's draft law establishing, for the 1st time, a "Carbon Tax", by declaring unconstitutional the large exceptions which excluded many industries from this new fiscal instrument due to serve Natural Environment goals, and in particular to fight against Climate change. The Government anounced a new, revised law for January 2010.
