Title: Turkey in China's troubled Uigur area (after USA asked more Rare Minerals)
Post by: Fengxu on November 02, 2010, 12:08:29 AM

Turkish Foreign Minister Davutoglu reportedly intervened (even before speaking at Beijing, China's capital) inside a troubled Chinese Region inhabited by many Uigurs, (there where Deadly Violent clashes had erupted a few years earlier, after a Turkish MEP had criticized China in a CoE Assembly's debate in Strasbourg), calling them "our (i.e. Turkey's) ..brothers and sisters" (sic !) "in Xiniang .. Autonomous Region", where "action" is needed "to solve the Crisis", as he said.

The Turkish move inside these remote Western Chinese areas came shortly after the USA accused China to  indirectly restrict Rare Minerals' available quota in Global Markets, (needed mainly for IT industry).
