Title: Iceland or Turkey ? ... What a question !... Post by: Geopol on May 28, 2009, 11:58:44 PM Iceland prepares its candidacy for EU accession. Good. It's a nice, developed European country, in culture, education and history, absolutely peaceful and friendly.
Last year, UK socialists of "New Labour" pushed Iceland to bancruptcy by blocking all its financial assets at London's City claiming, as a hollow pretext, the brittish .. "anti-terrorism" laws !!!... The moment chosen was oviously in order to hinder Iceland's candidacy as UN Security Council's new member, in order to impose ....Turkey instead, who was Iceland's competitor. Too bad for that old UN SC at post-9/11 New York.. . But in EU Enlargment, certainly Iceland is so welcome that it will outpace Turkey's controversial candidacy soon. In Global Warming times, this Summer, it's better for Europeans to have easy access to the refreshing Arctic Ocean ! (Which, by the way, has also plenty of oil and gas).. |
