Waste of EU Public Funds for Turkish private NabucO expensive deviation....

=> NO to abuse, NO to NabucO !

Strange "pressure" by EU Commission's lobbies in Brussels, far away from EU Citizens, against the will of German chancellor Merkel, pushing a reluctant France and several other sceptical EU Member States, want to oblige to waste Public Money from EU taxpayer to fund a controversial, expensive Turkish pipeline project, called NabucO...

But :

- It's obviously Hypocritical (and probably Illegal) to pretend include this inside a stimulus package to protect EU against the Crisis, since it will mainly be spend OUT of the EU, in Turkey and other 3rd Countries, and only AFTER the Crisis : Not in 2009, but after 2011..

- It's more Expensive than any other, Alternative Energy Transports, (mainly because of its excessive Length, and the useless Zig-Zag's down to Turkey, and afterwords again up towards Europe, instead of going directly to the EU -fex. via Romania, etc).

- After the recent shameless Political Blackmail threats against the EU by Turkish Prime Minister Erdogan over NabbuccO pipeline project, even before it exists, NabbucO became Untrustworthy : Europe must not become HOSTAGE of Turkey : Not even big Russia (which has plenty of Energy sources, while Turkey has none) didn't ever made such an open Political Blackmail !..

- It's too  Dangerous : Kurfdish and other Conflicts inside Turkey, Earthquakes (as in 1999), Political Blackmails and frequent pipeline Blockades over Prices' controversies (which made Turkey fex. block Pipelines with Iran, Russia, etc. several times in the past), huge Turkish DEBT : a World-wide record public debt, ready to implose, particularly during the Economic Crisis, (etc).

- It's a scandalous, useless waste : Europe can have many other Alternative Energy Transport corridors, much Faster, more Direct, less dangerous, less expensive, etc (fex. the Black Sea - Romania link, continuing via Danube and Rhin rivers via Bulgaria, Hungary, Austria, Germany, France, etc), and/or the South Stream new project (Russia/Bulgaria/Greece/Italy, etc), and/or a shorter pipeline Iraq/Syria to the Mediterranean (Lebanon/Cyprus EU Member) coming directly by Ships to Greece, Italy, and mainly France (at Fos 2, through which it enters EU's heart towards Germany via Rhone, etc). and Spain. (ETC)..

- It's a hazardous business, submitted to aleas : Nobody knows if there will be ever enough Gaz to transport through this mastodont, since most Central Asian Countries prefer to deal with Russia, instead of Turkey, and/or would like to go directly towards the EU, by the fastest way : Georgia - Black Sea - Romania - Danube/Rhine rivers. For the moment, people from that area know that there is not at all enough gaz for that..

=> STOP this Scandalous WASTE of EU Taxpayers' money ! 

If some Brussels' technocratic lobbies inside the out-going Commission would really like to boost EU Economy, let them give that Money to EU Citizens, (not to out of the EU, to Turkey)...

There are plenty of really useful, and much needed projects INSIDE the EU !
