Even in the traditionaly "Red" Vienna, the Austrian Capital City's People have just given More votes to the Rightist Party of "Freedom" than ever before in History,  (Winning + 6% more, and Growing from 25% up to 31%), as well as to the new Center-Right Party "NEOS", (which got now 6,2% of the votes).

On the contary, both the Socialist and the Popular Party lose- 5% and - 4,7%, respectively, Falling from 44% down to 39%, and from 14 % down to 9,3%, followed by the "Greens" who also lose -1%, falling from 12% down to 11%.

Apparently, the Austrian People don't want "GroKo" anymore, as it results also from the recent Regional Election in Upper Austria where the Rightists of the "Freie" Party grew from about 16% to almost 31%, (i.e. they Doubled on 2015 what they had got back on 2009)...

Recent events in Germany revealed that a Car-Makers' Lobby both pushes for even more Irregular Mass Immigration, (obviously in a dubious attempt to over-exploit them in their factories, with Lower Wages than the European Workers), and, at the same time, they seriously Manipulate and Lie to Public Authorities in North America and Europe, etc. in order to over-Pollute with Impunity, i.e. Damage evenmore Nature and Climate, as the latest Volkswagen Scandal has shown, (with more than 11 Millions of sold Cars affected in Europe and elsewhere)...

In both cases, they Cheat, in controversial attempts to serve some petty and shady interests, to the detriment of the People's and of all Society's General Interest !

For the 1st Time, the ChristianDemocrats (CDU) can have an Absolute Majority together with the "Alternative" (AfD) in the Federated State of Saxony, where the latest Polls give them 38% + 13 % = 51% of the German People's intentions of Vote.

Moreover, always at the Right side, the Far Right Party NPD reaches the 5% Threshhold in order to be represented at that important Regional Assembly.

On the Left side, the Socialists stay at 13% (i.e. Equal to the AfD !), and the Party of the Left = 17%,  (while athe Greens = 7%).

=> This proves that what happened at the End of Last year (2014) at the latest Election at Brandenburg, where the AfD suddenly got an unexpected 12,2%, wasn't en Exception at all...

Interestingly, it's mainly from the "Left" Party (-9 Seats) and less from the Socialists (-1 Seat), as well as from the Liberals (-Seats).

On the Contrary, at the Center-Right side, the ChristianDemocrats (CDU) progressed, winning  +2 Seats more, as well as the "Free Voters", who won 3 Seats there, for the First time.

=> As a result, Frau Merkel starts, for the 1st Time in the History of Modern Germany, to have a Political Alternative not only at her Left side, but also at her Right side !...

Durch die Geschichte sind Europäer tief miteinander verbunden. In guten wie in schlechten Zeiten hatten sie vieles gemeinsam – schon lange vor der EU

Europas Stärke liegt in seiner Verschiedenheit, zugleich ist diese die Ursache seiner Schwäche. Dieser Widerspruch macht von jeher und bis heute die Identität der Europäer und Europas aus. Es ist derselbe Widerspruch, der auch das Unbehagen am aufgeklärten Absolutismus der Brüsseler Kommission treibt. Angesichts der bevorstehenden Wahlen zum Europäischen Parlament wirft er die Frage auf, ob 100.000 Seiten bedrucktes Papier in Gestalt des "Acquis Communautaire" als einheitsverbürgendes Formprinzip ausreichen. Die kurze Antwort lautet Nein.

Umso wichtiger ist die lange Antwort. Sie muss beides tun, weit zurückblicken in Geschichte und Erinnerung der Völker und weit vorausschauen auf die Ziele und Möglichkeiten Europas und der Europäer in einer denkbar unsentimentalen globalen Zivilisation, die Schwäche nicht verzeiht, die industriellen Demokratien Europas samt ihrem Sozialvertrag in existenzielle Bedrängnis bringt und demografisch eine Umverteilung in Gang hält, in der Europa nicht mithalten kann.


Fast nebenbei wollte der Frauenausschuss im EU-Parlament im vergangenen Jahr Pornografie ganz abschaffen – am Ende hat das Plenum der Abgeordneten jedoch die Vorschläge kassiert

Europa hat seelische und intellektuelle Reserven. Aber sie lassen sich nicht erschließen durch immer mehr Zentralismus und Dirigismus – das Modell ist rund um den Globus mehr oder weniger gescheitert, und selbst der Aufstieg des alten neuen Reichs der Mitte ist bisher kein Gegenargument. Die Lösung viel mehr liegt in Kräften und Tugenden, die spezifisch sind für die europäische Kultur in allen ihren Gegensätzen, Dissonanzen und Selbstzweifeln. Wobei, was als europäisch gilt, nicht von der Brüsseler Kommission und assortierten Ministerräten bestimmbar ist, sondern durch die Völker selbst in allen ihren so gewohnten wie geliebten Widersprüchen.

Europa ist keine gewaltige Landmasse

Man muss wohl, wie die ältesten Historiker, mit der Geografie beginnen. Europa ist nicht eine gewaltige Landmasse wie Nordamerika, Russland oder China, sondern eine Ansammlung von Inseln und Halbinseln, das kleine Kap am westlichen Ende der eurasischen Landmasse und zugleich der östliche Küstensaum des atlantischen Systems.

Europa heißt zwar ein Kontinent, und das deutet sprachlich auf Zusammenhalt hin, aber Geografie und Geschichte sind zentrifugal angelegt seit vielen Jahrhunderten. Geschichte und Kultur sind geprägt durch Widerspruch, Wettstreit und Wettbewerb, nicht durch imperialen und ideologischen Gesamtentwurf.

Und wo es dennoch so war, da hat es nicht lange gedauert. Nicht im Frankenreich unter Karl dem Großen, das schon unter den Söhnen dauerhaft zerfiel; nicht im Heiligen Römischen Reich, das den absoluten Dominat des Kaisers im Dreißigjährigen Krieg niederkämpfte, nicht unter Napoleon und nicht unter Hitler.

Völker wollen nicht auf ihre Besonderheit verzichten

"Ein Gott, ein König, ein Gesetz": Das war die Grundformel französischer Staatsbildung. Sie strahlte auf die entstehenden europäischen Nationalstaaten aus, bis das Prinzip sich im 20. Jahrhundert unter ungeheuren Blutopfern erledigte. Europa durch Vereinheitlichung und Zentralisierung gegen seine alten Dämonen zu sichern wird zwar von den Brüsseler Eurokraten als quasigöttlicher, zumindest welthistorischer Auftrag gesehen.

Doch das kann nichts daran ändern, dass die Völker etwas Entscheidendes vermissen, was sie doch, von Kopenhagen bis Wien, gerade bewahren wollten, ihre Besonderheit – die "exception francaise", die polnische Märtyrernation, Italien die "grande proletaria". Und auch die Deutschen, die zu Hause ihren Föderalismus pflegen – und mitunter beklagen – wollen doch nicht auf hergebrachte Lebensformen verzichten.

Im Großen groß soll die EU sein, im Kleinen klein – das wollen bei den Europawahlen alle Prominenten – so als ob sie jahrzehntelang im Widerstand gewesen wären. Es werden wohl Nichtwähler und Europaskeptiker, gemessen an der Zahl der Wahlberechtigten, die Mehrheit haben.

Amerikas Vorstellungen sind uns fremd

Eine Stunde der Wahrheit kündigt sich an. E pluribus unum – der stolze amerikanische Imperativ, aus vielen Verschiedenheiten ein großes Ganzes zu machen, hat selbst in den Vereinigten Staaten seine Grenzen, doch sind Legende und Wirklichkeit des "american way of life" machtvolle geschichtliche Kräfte. Amerikas Sendungsbewusstsein, die Welt sicher zu machen für die Demokratie, ist den Europäern fremd und hat Amerika zu Triumphen in zwei Weltkriegen geführt, seitdem aber auch seine Grenzen erwiesen.

Nichts davon findet sich in Europa. Die Wegbeschreibung zur "immer engeren Gemeinschaft", wie sie in den Verträgen über Euratom, die Montanunion und dann die Europäische Wirtschaftsgemeinschaft vor sechs Jahrzehnten auf geduldiges Papier gesetzt wurde, kam aus dem Trauma des Krieges, Bedrängnis durch die Sowjetunion, jugendlichem Idealismus, Weisheit alter Männer und vielen aufschiebenden Formelkompromissen.

Die Franzosen wollten so viel wie möglich vom Nationalstaat und der France profonde bewahren, die Deutschen so viel wie möglich den zerbrochenen Nationalstaat hinter sich lassen. Die amerikanische Führungsmacht gab militärischen Schutz, namentlich durch die Politik der Nuklearwaffe, welche die Amerikaner hatten und die Russen lange nicht, und verlangte im Gegenzug, die Europäer sollten ihre Wirtschaft fusionieren und Deutschland in den Klub aufnehmen.

Die Summe der Brüsseler Wohltaten bringt nichts

Europäische Identität? Anders als lange geglaubt, kann sie nicht das Modell des deutschen Föderalismus borgen. "Staatenverbund neuer Art" – so orakelte vor zwei Jahrzehnten das Bundesverfassungsgericht und überließ den Rest der Kommission mit ihrem Sendungsbewusstsein und den Mitgliedsstaaten mit ihrem Egoismus. Wenn letztere aber erwarteten, es werde sich aus der Summe der Brüsseler Wohltaten irgendwie irgendwann eine höhere Synthese ergeben, so haben sie sich getäuscht. Europäische Identität wird auf diese Weise nicht entstehen.

Dabei gibt es sie längst, man muss sie nur wahrnehmen und anerkennen. Wie kommt es denn, dass Europa im Rest der Welt als Sinn- und Wirkungseinheit verstanden wird – nur in Russland ist das Prinzip der fusionierten Souveränität Objekt des Rätselratens geblieben.

Wie kommt es, dass deutsche Werkzeugmaschinen und Automobile, französische Haute Couture, italienische Handtaschen als klassische europäische Kulturprodukte wahrgenommen werden und sich im Übrigen auch der Nachahmung, wenn man genauer hinschaut, entziehen? Wie kommt es , dass die europäische Stadt mit Rathaus, Kirche und Markt unverkennbar Alte Welt ist, die Kulturlandschaften ebenso, die Reste der Vergangenheit, eingeschlossen das Gedenken an die durchlebten und durchlittenen gemeinsamen Katastrophen?

Mit anderen Worten: Es gibt die europäische Identität, man muss sie nur in ihren Widersprüchen begreifen und notfalls gegen Kommission, Ministerräte und Technokratie verteidigen.

but you must admit that, among various EU Leaders, at least Angie Merkel is apparently trying to find a solution by compromise, together with Vladimir Putin, while Didier Burkhalter's intermediation via the OSCE+, even if its full content isn't yet public, nevertheless seems to point at a positive direction.

On the contrary, there are others who throw oil on the fire, persisting in bullying, instead of real, trasparent and inclusive Dialogue for a sustainable Peace, naturally starting by an immediate stop to violence from all involved.

For the rest, it's obvious that, at any case, EU Citizens will certainly judge all EU Parties and Candidates to EU Parliament's elections also according to the stance that they'll take in favour of Peace and Development for Europe, or the contrary.. ....Die Geiseln sind frei, nun beginnt die politische Aufarbeitung. Im SPIEGEL kritisiert der CSU-Politiker Gauweiler den Einsatz der Bundeswehrsoldaten in der Ukraine. Verteidigungsministerin von der Leyen sagt hingegen, sie würde wieder OSZE-Beobachter in das Krisenland schicken.

Hamburg - Sie wurden tagelang als Geiseln in der Ostukraine festgehalten, nun sind die OSZE-Beobachter frei. Am Samstagabend landeten die zwölf Inspektoren - darunter vier Bundeswehrsoldaten - in Berlin. Also alles gut? Nun beginnt die politische Aufarbeitung des Einsatzes in der Ukraine.

Deutliche Kritik übt CSU-Vizechef Peter Gauweiler. Im Interview mit dem SPIEGEL verurteilt er sowohl den Einsatz in dem Krisenland als solchen - als auch das Verhalten der Bundeswehrsoldaten dor


Gauweiler betonte, die Aktivitäten von Bundeswehrsoldaten in Zivilkleidung in der Ostukraine seien nicht im deutschen Interesse. "Dass die Revolutionsregierung in Kiew, deren Legitimität man mit gutem Grund anzweifeln kann, Interesse hat, Soldaten der Bundeswehr in das Konfliktgebiet 'einzuladen', verstehe ich schon. Ich verstehe aber nicht, dass es unser Interesse sein soll, uns in dieser plumpen Weise noch tiefer in den Konflikt hineinziehen zu lassen."

Gauweiler forderte die Bundesregierung auf, Klarheit über den Einsatz der Bundeswehrsoldaten in der Ostukraine zu schaffen. "Wer hat zu dieser weiteren Mission deutsche Soldaten in die Ostukraine geschickt - zeitgleich und außerhalb der ausdrücklich als Zivilveranstaltung beschlossenen OSZE-Sondermission -, und wie soll das mit dem Wiener OSZE-Abkommen vereinbar sein?"

Verteidigungsministerin Ursula von der Leyen (CDU) hingegen rechtfertigt den Einsatz der Bundeswehrsoldaten in der Ukraine. Sie würde wieder OSZE-Beobachter in das Land schicken, sagte sie am Samstagabend im ZDF-"heute-journal". "Ich finde es wichtig, dass wir uns nicht einschüchtern lassen."

Auf die Frage von Moderator Claus Kleber, ob von der Leyen die Männer in eine Situation geschickt habe, in der sie den Separatisten auf Gnade oder Ungnade ausgeliefert waren, antwortete die Verteidigungsministerin: "Das sind hochprofessionelle Experten. International schließen sich Länder zusammen, gerade weil man in Regionen gehen will, die uns Sorge machen." Bei der Mission sei es darum gegangen, herauszufinden, wie das militärische Potential in der Ukraine sei, "damit auch die Diplomatie weiß, wie sie es einzuschätzen hat".

Lob für Schröder
Überraschendes Verständnis äußert CSU-Politiker Gauweiler für Altkanzler Gerhard Schröder (SPD). Im SPIEGEL sagt er zu dem umstrittenen Treffen von Schröder mit Russlands Präsident Wladimir Putin in St. Petersburg: "Während der ganzen Ukraine-Krise lautete Deutschlands Position, wir dürfen bei aller Kritik den Draht zu Russland nicht abreißen lassen. Wenn Altkanzler Schröder genau das tut, habe ich das nicht zu beanstanden."

Bei dem Treffen war Schröders 70. Geburtstag nachgefeiert worden. Der Altkanzler geriet vor allem deshalb in die Kritik, weil er Putin überschwänglich umarmt hatte.

Gauweiler stellt sich auch hinter den CDU-Außenpolitiker Philipp Mißfelder, der ebenfalls an dem Treffen mit Putin teilgenommen hatte. Forderungen, Mißfelder solle als außenpolitischer Sprecher der Unionsfraktion zurücktreten, bezeichnet Gauweiler als "absolut lächerlich". Genauso gut könne man verlangen, den deutschen Botschafter abzuberufen, der ebenfalls an der Veranstaltung teilgenommen hat, so der CSU-Politiker.

According to the latest "DeutschlandTrend" Polls, a big Majority of ore than 55% of German People don't want the "GroKo" (Grosse Coalition) with the Socialists (accepted only by a Minority of some 40%), but, at the same time, they continue to support the popular Chancellor Angie Merkel of the ChristianDemocrat CDU/CSU party.

The difference between Merkel's CDU/CSU at 40% and SPD's 25%, almost equals their September 2013 Results; ARD public broadcaster reported.

Logical, particularly after the results of the September 22, 2013 National Elections, and of the recent Edathy Scandal (concerning the Pedophilian activities of a Socialist MP who had become famous for stigmatizing all Rightists, that he assimilatd to deadly Extremists)...

More than 1,1 Million Europeans migrated in Germany during just 1 year : 2012, revealed the latest Statistics.

Most of them originated from Portugal, Spain, Italy, Greece, and other EU Countries hardly hit by the Global Economic Crisis, logically attracted by Germany's better functioning production system today.

Previous years' data had apparently indicated, until now, that a Majority of European migrants often Returns, later-on, back into their Mother Country, where they naturally spread the German Language, Culture and personal links that they had acquired during their stay and work in Deutschland.

But almost another Half of those New European migrants decide to stay and live with their Families in Germany for a long period of Time, often bringing in also quite Qualified Workers of European culture and history, comparatively much more easy to integrate socially with sufficient cohesion, which starts recently to develop one of EU's potential advantages.

The German People gave an almost absolute Majority to ChristianDemocrats/Socials of CDU/CSU, or to the SPD Socialists  ?

Almost Hidden inside some 180 pages, that Draft Deal looks plenty of unopular CDU/CSU concessions to "Soc"...

Among others, see also,  f.ex. :

- Publicity for Homosexual couples' so-called "Fundamental" "Values" (sic) and risks of increased Oppression against Critics....

- Even for "Adoptions" of Children by Homosexuals (a particularly Dangerous and Unpopular claim), the road has been opened !

- Double Passports and Nationalities for Turks and other Non-European immigrants.

- Plaidoyerie for "Cultural Variety" (sic) by "Migrants", instead of the famous : - "No to Multi-Kulti !".

- Even more Turkish and other Migrant-origin individuals to be given more and moe Jobs inside the German Police, augmenting fears for possible Abuses, Communautarism, etc.

- Turkey returns to the EU "Enlargment" process, even if it's treated as "Open-ended", and the "Privileged Partnership" is highlighted as a possibility. (=> "PAT" ?).

- "Gene-Tech". in Foodstaff, (under some conditions)

- Nothing visible about protecting the Human Embryo against Genetic Manipulations, nor safeguarding Adult Human Persons vis a vis a growing number of several dangerous Medical "Tests" for the Pharma Industry lobby, even for Cosmetics (!) , etc..

If we didn't read well the Original Text , (sometimes foggy) hopefully some other readers could rectify one or another concrete point.

=> It's not a surprise that at least 3 MPs (2 CDU and 1 CSU) dared vVote AGAINST, and another 5 prefered to Abstain (=>  already 8 dissident CDU/CSU MPS).

The CDU Party is due to decide on December 9, at a short convention in Berlin, while the SPD will consult its Members between the 6th and the 12th of December.

In case of any refusal, the next steps could be a New CDU/CSU - Greens effort, (now with the New elected Leadersship, after the September 2013 Elections), or a CDU/CSU attempt for an Autonomous Government, otherwise New Elections. (A Red-Red deal would be obviously Undemocratic, and lack legitimacy, since the Majority of German People voted for parties located at the Center-Right).

- After his infamous statement that "Kosovo is Turkey" (sic !), as he claimed referring to a cultural assimilation between the Historic Birthplace of Serbian Christian Church and 99% Muslim Ankara, the controversial Turkish Prime Minister Tayip Erdogan has just boasted that ... (EU, CoE and UNO Member) "Cyprus does not exist " at all (re-sic !!)...

=> Who is next ?

Perhaps, Erdogan's will continue in this trend, by also claiming, that, thanks to PSD's "Multi-Kulti", f.ex., ..."Cologne is Turkey" ?

I.e. Socialos practically demand 1,5 Ministries (including that of Economy !) per only 1 (one) MP Vote at the Bundestag,

 where Germany's Christiandemocrats have won almost the Absolute Majority of MPs, except just 4 (Four).



=> Isn't that too Costly ?

Isn't there any Other Solution, less expensive and more "Competitive" ?....


CDU/CSU can find these 4 MPs' Votes somewhere else, among the various existing possibilities : F.ex. with the PSD, or with the Greens, may be with Individual MPs, or even with a "Constructive Abstention" of just a few MPs in case of Motion of Defiance or Confidence, unless they simplify things by deciding to go on and Govern the Country, Democratically based on an Election which gave a clear Absolute Majority of People's Votes to the center-Right, (including 2 or 3 non-represented parties), leaving up to anyone who might push a Motion of Defiance the heavy Responsibility to eventually provoke another money/time-wasting Election, etc)....

After storming violently, since 9 o'clock a.m. the City Hall at Inolstadt, a young man of undisclosed identity and with "unclear motives", according to an official version, suddenly changed attitude, immediately after the Governing CDU/CSU Parties anounced that the important Merkel - Seehofer public meeting was cancelled, at about 4.30 p.m., and shortly freed 1 key-Hostage (Inolstadt's 3rd deputy-Mayor), starting to Relax, and asking, for the 1st time, to have some Food, and particularly "3 Döner" Kebap, (recently contolled mainly by Turkish networks),  giving a chance to the German Police to take action and free the remaining Hostages in a few Minutes time, around 5.20 p.m.

Previously, the Christian-Democrat German Chancellor's initial pre-Electoral public meetings, starting from last week near Frankfurt and Karlsruhe, had already been targetted and harassed by exceptionally aggressive counter-demonstrators, in small grouplets of "Socialist", Turkish, NPD and other kinds of noisy dissidents who had repeatedly attempted to disrupt her speeches to the governing party's supporters.

Interesting Wolfgang Schauble idea: EU President directly elected by EU Citizens+...and an EU Government (i.e. "Commission"), mainly chosen by EU Parliament, etc.

It's in an INTW at FAZ, repercuted also by Welt and several other Medias, (also in various other EU States, big and small).

Such moves are indispensable also in order to create a "European Public Space" (EU area of debates : "Europaische Offentlichkeit", a well known term in "Frankfurt"'s school of thought, including Habermas, etc), which needs to be boosted also by the development of original Media projects like "EuroFora", etc).

But the Timing is also important : It should be done around 2014 or 2015 at the latest, or sooner. If not accross all the 27 EU Countries, at least via €uroArea's 17 main core.

Urgently needed, efficient European Integration, obviously calling for a reinforcement of Democratic Legitimacy, which can only be really revitalized by EU Citizens'debates introduced in mainstream Decision-making processes, in one way or another, go hand by hand.
