The facts about the exceptionally strong Fires threatening this August 2009 Athens in Greece appear so strange, that, in addition to direct action and EU solidarity, many questions are raised on their real Causes :

* "More than 90 Fires" appeared in one Day (from Friday to Saturday) !

* Initially they threatened an important Military Base, serving to protect the Capital city from Airplane attacks.

* Starting from the Aegean Sea, the biggest Fires curiously formed a .. straight Line, which continued attacking the mainland up to Sparte, before turning towards Zakynthos in a .. perfect Square Angle !

This looks astonishingly similar with the Geometric pattern of the pre-electoral ...2007 Fires in Greece, which were extraordinary numerous, according to EU data, and largely denounced as "Criminal", but whose main cause still remains unknown : In 2007 too, the most dangerous fires curiously lined-up in a .. straight Line, continuing in a Square Angle at almost the same points, as Satellite Photos show, with only a slightly differend inclination of the same geometrically too perfect schema, which threatened, then, another important Military Base at Sparte :

What might be the cause of such a suprisingly perfect Geometric Line,
starting always from the Aegean Sea, and afterwards threatening 2 important Military Bases near Marathon and Sparte, in 2007 and 2009 ?

It's obviously difficult to explain all these facts only with a few unscrupulus promoters.

Even the hypothesis of an eventual UAV (unmanned automatic flying vehicle) attack could look more plausible...

The Political context, in 2007, was mainly focused on the Elections fixed on September, while on 2009, it's much more Greece's and Cyprus' denunciations of Turkish Military Airplanes' overflights and claims over possible Oil/Gas findings in their territorial waters at the Aegean Sea and the Eastern Mediterranean which prevail, at the eve of the September 4 "Gymnich" meeting of EU's Foreign Ministers.

At any case, it's certainly an EU Security issue, for Civil Protection, and probably also of EU Defence.
