Eurofora launched eve of EU Innovation+Creativity year (2008 to 2009)

Despite some Earlier Publications, and a subsequent Emergence later on, in fact, Historicaly, the 1st real NewsReport of "Eurofora" was published on-line at the Beginning of August 2008, from Brixen-Bressanone city, at South Tirol Region, located in Northern Italy, between the Alpes Mountains and the Dolomiten High-Rise Peaks, when the then Pope Benedict launched an Urgent Call for European Leaders to Act in order to Prevent a new and even more Tragic and Destructive, Division of Europe, which might obviously had even pushed towards a wider World War, from the fast unfolding Clash between Georgia and Russia of then Presidents Shakaasvili and Medvedev, around the pro-Autonomy, break-away Abkhazia and South Ossetia Regions of former USSR but in nowadays Georgia, reportedly Attacked by Tbilisi's National Army, which had already made even Civilian Victims, provoked Destructions, Military clashes, etc., Triggering a Russian Counter-Offensive which reportedly threatened to arrive near Tbilisi. German Chancelor Merkel was, then, visiting a Nearby Village, apparently keeping in contact with her compatriot, former Cardinal and Theologian Writer Joseph Ratzinger, while the then French President Sarkozy, who Chaired at that time the EU, took a Risky but notoriously Succesful Diplomatic Initiative, which led him both to Moscow and Tbilisi, almost Immediately, from the Afternoon/Evening of that Same Day, August 10, finaly SafeGuarding Peace in Europe and in the World, (http://www.eurofora.net/newsflashes/irish/benepeace.html ).
Last, but not least, "Eurofora"s progressive Launch also Topically came just Before the Start of the pre-electoral period for the Crucial EU Parliament's Elections of May 2009, (Comp., among others, f.ex., also : http://www.eurofora.net/newsflashes/news/daulelections.html ).

It's at a splendid Natural landscape, inside a Forest plateau with superbe view over Paris, at Saint Cloud, that the incoming French EU Presidency had the good idea to join together all EU Member Countries' Ministers of Environment and Energy, in two overlaping EU Councils in a series, from 3 to 5 July 2008.
Fresh rain happily dissipated July's heatwave, before a bright Sun shined at the conclusion of the EU gathering around a huge statue of Earth (See Photo).
French super-Minister of State for Energy, Transport and Environment, Jean-Louis Borloo, and Minister for Environment, Nathalie Kosciusko-Morizet chaired the first EU Ministerial meeting at Paris' area, together with EU Commissioners Demas and Pielbags, surprising Journalists with improvised Press-points, at key-moments of the discussions.

Environment and Energy are key to the development of New Technologies to boost Europe's role in the World, while also responding to Citizens' concerns, stressed Borloo, speaking to Journalists earlier in Strasbourg.
According to well-infomed sources from the French EU Presidency, the aim is to stimulate a growing trend inside EU Parliament, via various on-going Reports developping in parallel, towards achieving the necessary targets before December.
For this purpose, Top-level representatives from Borloo's super-Ministry are expected to come in Strasbourg during EU Parliament's plenary, next Wednesday, a key official told "EuroFora".
